The A-list actress talks facials, fragrance and her morning routine
Gwyneth Paltrow’s approach to beauty is simple and fuss-free. She takes good care of her body and skin and when she has the time, indulges in facials, manis and pedis. Here’s eight insights into Gwyneth’s beauty routine.
Her morning routine
"I don’t do anything first thing in the morning. I wake up and splash my face with water and then I’m racing off with kids and making lunch and the school run, and then I go to the gym. For a night out, I do mascara and maybe some lip gloss – that’s about as far as I go."
How she looks after her skin
"I drink a lot of water and fresh coconut water. My skin tends to be dry, so I try to keep it hydrated, and I get a facial once a month with Sonya Dakar in LA. I relish my time in the facialist bed."
Her mani-pedi routine
"I get manis and pedis whenever I have the time. I either do nude or red polish. I’m very boring."
How she looks after her hair
I try to condition my hair and use oils. I exercise most days and get a lot of sweat in my hair, so I put a leave-in conditioner in and tie it up. I also try not to use too many hot irons and blow-dryers as I have bleach in it and I don’t want it to break off.
Her exercise routine
I exercise five days a week. It is the one thing that I do the most that has changed my life the most.
