While the coronavirus pandemic has presented its own unique set of challenges, one thing we can certainly all be grateful for is the unprecedented amount of time we now have on our hands to indulge in some long-overdue TLC. However, gaining a moment to yourself is not so easy when you’re working from home and a full-time parent. As it turns out, even your favourite celebrities aren’t immune, and our girl Hilary Duff is the latest to admit it!

The actress took to her Instagram stories to share her “self-care evening” while her daughter, Banks, took a nap. Unsurprisingly, Duff’s bath routine is as luxurious as you might expect, including amongst several other products, a coffee mint exfoliating bar from SAIPUA and a resurfacing mask from Tata Harper. Although we’ll definitely be adding these products to our wishlist, it was her haircare routine that had us most intrigued.

Last week, Duff revealed her vibrant new self-isolation locks, the star transforming her luscious golden tresses to a vibrant aquamarine ‘do. Although we’re certain she wouldn’t have made the change without consulting her colourist first, her freshly dyed hair would be lacking some serious hydration – and Duff seems to think so too.

After washing her hair with a soap-free and plastic-free shampoo bar (made of coconut oil, cupuaçu butter, argan, and castor oil) from Odacité Skincare, the Younger actress lathered her hair with OUAI's Treatment Masque; stating "This will prob pull a ton of the blue out... but my hair needs the love.”

Designed by celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin, the mask targets damaged hair, aiming to repair and protect whilst also mending split ends – a beauty dilemma we’re all dealing with right now.

If you can’t get your hands on Hilary’s go-to mask, here are some others we recommend to keep your hair healthy and hydrated throughout self-isolation.
