She shares some of her go-to skin treatments
While she may be one of the biggest celebs in the world, Kim Kardashian still loves a good beauty bargain. She recently revealed some of her favourite DIY beauty treatments on her KKW app that she uses in-between splashing out on salon visits.
“I love indulging in spa treatments, but they can be so time-consuming and pricey!” Kim wrote. “There are a ton of at-home alternatives that are quick to use and less expensive.”
One of her go-to at-home skin care tools goes by the name of Tria SmoothBeauty Laser. Promising to rejuvenate and tighten ageing skin, the handheld device uses beams of light to accelerate collagen production for younger-looking skin.
And while Kim swears by her regular laser treatments with Dr Ourian (he’s her go-to dermatologist in Beverly Hills AND the man behind Kylie Jenner’s lips), it seems the SmoothBeauty Laser is a firm favourite for keeping her skin in check between treatments.
“I swear by Dr Ourian's laser treatments, but this tool is the next best thing. It helps rebuilds collagen to make your skin look more youthful and radiant,” Kim said.
Another on the list of Kim’s top treatments is the PMD Personal Microderm Pro – an exfoliating tool that works to buff away dead skin cells for a brighter, smoother and more even skin tone.
“Microdermabrasion is such a good treatment option for anyone with sun damage, discoloration, acne scars and other blemishes,” she shared.
“I love doing this type of treatment during the spring and summer, as the sun can be SO damaging to skin. This at-home tool deeply exfoliates the top layer of your skin to reveal brighter and smoother skin.”
While these nifty little skin care tools may not be available in Australia just yet (*SIGH*), it’s good to know it doesn’t have to cost a mint to get A-lister skin.
