The foundation that’ll keep you looking fresh and flawless the *entire* day

Here’s what our Review Crew® had to say about this long-lasting formula

The product

There’s nothing worse than looking in the mirror at lunchtime and realising your foundation has turned into a cakey/flakey/patchy mess. It’s just not a good time.

And while there are a heap of long-wear foundations getting around, it’s surprisingly hard to find one that doesn’t have the tendency to oxidise and cling to dry patches.

The new L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24H Fresh Foundation is the latest foundation that ticks all the boxes when it comes to nabbing a fresh, glowing complexion that actually lasts. It’s easy to build, blends effortlessly, and is perfect for everyday use.

The secret? The lightweight formula contains a unique ‘Hyaluronic Fresh Complex’ that helps increase the level of water held by skin, meaning your complexion will feel moisturised, hydrated and comfortable for a whopping 24 hours.

Our panel of Review Crew® members put this product to the test.

The panel

Beauty Crew sent L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24H Fresh Foundation to a panel of women aged between 18 to 35 years old who are on the search for a reliable foundation that doesn’t look and feel cakey.

The lowdown

Here's what the Review Crew® loved about the long-lasting foundation:

How long-wearing the formula was: Review Crew® members were impressed with how long-lasting the formula was, with many commenting that it survived 12-hour work days without budging. One reviewer said, “I work 8+ hours in a busy cafe and it still looks great at the end of the day”.

How flawless it made their skin look: Our testers loved that the foundation gave them smooth, flawless-looking skin, with many commenting that it doesn't sit in creases or enhance the look of pores or fine lines. Many recommend this foundation for everyday wear.

How great the coverage was: Review Crew® members found that the formula was easy to spread and provided excellent buildable coverage without feeling too heavy or looking cakey.

The verdict

“I love this foundation. It’s makes a beautiful everyday foundation. It doesn't feel too dry and cakey, but at the same time did not make my skin oily. I definitely love how it is super quick and easy to use; I really like this finish of this one.”

“I have combination skin but that doesn't seem to be an issue with this foundation, and it lasts me the whole day without having to touch up on my makeup. Even though it is a high coverage foundation, it doesn't look cakey on the skin, and I've used several different concealers and setting powders with this foundation and all of them have worked perfectly with this product.”

“It stayed the course through sweat, dirt and pollution, and did particularly well to hydrate my skin, which has been a little dry and flaky of late. I also selected this on a whim without shade matching and was impressed that the ivory tones were a perfect match and did not oxidise or rust throughout the day. I stayed fresh looking and also loved the fact that I could build up the coverage to full when needed.”
