We’ve discovered the lipstick your makeup bag is missing

Here’s what our Review Crew® had to say about the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Lip Paints and Liners

The product

If you’ve tended to steer clear of bold or highly-pigmented lip products because they seem like too much hassle, we get you. Bold colours can be hard to apply, even harder to maintain and often leave your lips feeling dry and cracked. However, these days new formulas exist that promise to deliver a strong wash of colour in a single (and easy to apply) swipe that won’t dry your lips out either. L’Oréal Paris Infallible Lip Paints work to do just that. Available in 14 shades from nude to bold and in both matte and lacquer finishes, the non-drying lip paints are bound to become a new makeup bag staple.

The panel

Beauty Crew sent two of the 14 L’Oréal Paris Infallible Lip Paint shades and their corresponding L’Oréal Paris Infallible Lip Liners to a panel of women aged between 16 and 28 who wanted to try highly-pigmented lipsticks in both matte and lacquer finishes.

The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about L’Oréal Paris Infallible Lip Liner and L’Oréal Paris Infallible Lip Paint:

The variety of lip paint shades: Reviewers were sent two nude lip paint shades, however many appreciated that the range featured 14 colours varying from natural to bold – meaning there was a shade for everyone and every occasion.

The rich and non-drying formula: Members also loved that neither the lacquer or velvet-matte lip paint formulas dried their lips out, with many saying that their lips felt smooth and moisturised after application.

How long the liner lasted: Many reviewers were impressed with how long the lip liner lasted on their lips, while others commented on how creamy and easy to apply the formula was.

The verdict

“These lip paints come in a beautiful tube and you can easily apply the product with the applicator. The pigment is beautiful and looks amazing on my lips and I love how I only have to use one coat to get the coverage I need. Unlike other lip tints, this doesn’t dry my lips and it locks in the moisture. Lovely product that I would recommend to all makeup enthusiasts.”

“First of all, the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Lip Paint smelt amazing! I loved the scent of it, which might be a little weird but if I can’t stand the smell of a lipstick, I wouldn’t be comfortable wearing it too often. The L’Oreal Paris Infallible Lip Paint wasn’t too thick, making it very smooth to apply – a little bit goes a long way with this product. I didn’t need much more than one swipe of the lip paint and it wasn’t sticky at all, which is a major benefit!”

“I truly loved this lip liner; I found it super creamy with [a] really intense and long-lasting colour. This liner did not bleed or smudge and lasted hours and hours. The pencil is easy to use and glides on beautifully without dragging or drying lips. I love a great nude lip liner [and] this one is another winner from L’Oréal – I highly recommend it.”
