Here’s what our Review Crew® had to say about this anti-wrinkle face cream

The product

These days we’re all on the hunt for powerful products that tackle any and all of our skin issues in as little time as possible. The problem with this hard-and-fast approach is that those supercharged products can strip the skin of its natural oils, causing its natural barrier to weaken. Once the skin barrier is weakened, irritants, bacteria and pollution can penetrate the skin, leaving it more susceptible to sensitivity.

Here’s where L’Oréal Paris’s first repairing and anti-ageing moisturiser comes in. The Revitalift Centella Repair Anti-Wrinkle Face Cream has been formulated with centella asiatica, a plant often used in Chinese medicine for its ability to heal and repair skin. The ancient ingredient works to boost collagen, accelerate skin renewal and strengthen the skin’s barrier, enabling it to resist signs of ageing more effectively.

The panel

Beauty Crew sent L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Centella Repair Anti-Wrinkle Face Cream to a panel of women aged between 35 and 50 years old who wanted to help their skin resist the first signs of ageing.

The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Centella Repair Anti-Wrinkle Face Cream:

How effectively it reduced fine lines and wrinkles: Many testers were pleased and surprised at how effectively the cream minimised the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, with the majority noticing a difference in their skin after just a few weeks of use.

How gentle the formula was on sensitive skin: Reviewers with sensitive skin commented that not only did the formula not irritate their skin, but it actually left their complexion looking and feeling soothed and soft.

How hydrated the cream left skin feeling: Although some testers didn’t see a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles within the trial period of two weeks, the vast majority did mention that they were impressed with how hydrated, soft and nourished the cream left their skin, with many describing it as the perfect base before makeup application.

The verdict

“I have been using L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Centella Repair Anti-Wrinkle Face Cream for four weeks now and I think it’s great! I noticed my skin looked more hydrated and felt softer to touch almost immediately, and by the second week the lines and wrinkles around my eye area started to disappear too.”

“The L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Centella Repair Anti-Wrinkle Face Cream is an amazing product that I was totally surprised with. When I opened the tube I was worried that the cream would make my skin feel oily and greasy but I was presently surprised at how good my skin felt. I was also impressed with how my fine lines seemed to have disappeared especially on my forehead. I did concentrate on the areas that I was concerned about and was very happy with the results.”

“I really enjoyed using the L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Centella Repair Cream. It is very lightweight and easily absorbs into the skin. I also like the fresh scent and the fact that it’s packaged in a tube rather than a jar. I found the cream to be quite effective and I have noticed a reduction in my fine lines. I will definitely continue to use this product and repurchase in the future.”
