Earlier this month, Chanel launched their campaign for their newest fragrance, Gabrielle Essence, created by the fashion house's perfumer Olivier Polge. To celebrate this launch, Chanel hosted an exclusive poolside dinner at the famous Chateau Marmont. Australian actress Margot Robbie was in attendance, as one of Chanel's ambassadors and the face of the new fragrance.
As the evening's host, Robbie gave a toast to celebrate the launch of the new perfume, which was followed by an al fresco dinner alongside the Marmont's iconic pool.
The Australian actress wore an asymmetric silk ruffled top with wide leg black satin pants, paired with a Chanel bag. The look featured in Chanel's Fall-Winter 2019 Haute Couture collection.
Robbie was joined by other guests, including fellow Chanel ambassador Kristine Froseth and sisters Este, Danielle and Alana from the band Haim.
Gabrielle Essence is the second iteration of the Chanel Gabrielle scent, which was released in 2017. The original version is a light, feminine perfume dripping tuberoses, but Gabrielle Essence builds on this and takes it one step further. Chanel perfumer Oliver Polge introduced notes of citrus, vanilla and red berries to create a new fragrance that keeps it's feminine characteristics but brings a new composition that feels warm and playful.
Margot has been making serious beauty moves with Chanel, including this *major* orange eyeshadow look.
