There’s no denying that burgundy is the shade of the moment. For those looking to create the ultimate on-trend look, the Maybelline New York Burgundy Bar Eyeshadow Palette offers a collection of 12 rich, high-pigment shades to take your look from day to night.
Our panel of Review Crew® testers put this product to the test.
Beauty Crew sent Maybelline New York Burgundy Bar Eyeshadow Palette to a panel of women aged between 18 and 39 who are looking to embrace the burgundy beauty trend and experiment with subtle to bold eye makeup looks.
Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about the Maybelline New York Burgundy Bar Eyeshadow Palette:
How rich and pigmented the colours are: A majority of the Review Crew® testers found the colours were intensely pigmented. They reported that the shades were highly blendable too, which allowed them to define and smoke out their eye makeup look.
How long-wearing the formula is: Review Crew® members were happy to report that the eyeshadows were long-lasting and crease-resistant, with many finding they didn’t need to apply primer underneath.
How versatile the palette is: Most reviewers were thrilled with the selection of shades and were able to create a variety of different looks to take their makeup look from day to night. Reviewers also revealed that when teamed with the Maybelline New York Curvitude Liner, they were able to define their eyes further for a statement look.
Good to know: Some reviewers did mention that the majority of shades were too metallic for everyday wear and would have preferred to see a few more matte colours included in the palette.
The products for this Review Crew® trial have been provided by Maybelline New York to Pacific Magazines’ BEAUTYcrew for the purpose of trial and review by BEAUTYcrew members.
