Australis High Life Illuminating Strobe Powder

The Australis High Life Illuminating Strobe Powder didn't really work for me. It made my skins texture stand out and also made my pores look large. I wouldn't say it really works as a highlighter. Well not for me anyway. For me it basically just left bits of shimmer/glitter on my cheek bones. So unfortunately I'm not a fan. I would also suggest trying to apply this with your fingertip as I do often get a slightly better pay off when I dab highlighter on with my fingers. I would be purchasing this again. Sorry.

I have this Illuminating Strobe Powder in the shade "Glimmer" and really love the little extra shine the delicate sparkle that it adds to my look.  I've also found that breaking the rules and using it for my eye look is awesome.  I can use it as a base or just add a touch in the inner corners of my eyes. It's very kind on the budget and lasts forever as you only need a small amount to add that extra sparkle.  Glimmer is very subtle. Awesome that its made by an Aussie company that is cruelty free.

This bad boy is a major glitter bomb so I tend to only use it when I want to glow all over! It achieves this quite well and applies very easily with instant glittery coverage but can be built up very quickly to a blinding disco highlight. This is another affordable winner from Australis that is definitely only for those seeking a highlight that is beyond shimmer!

I've always been curious (and a little scared) of using highlighter, it looks stunning in all those insta-photo's but I wasn't sure I could do it myself. I'm a huge fan of Australis products, so when I saw their High Life Illuminating Strobe Powder - I decided to give it a shot in the stunning light gold shade 'Radiance'. The compact is large, easy to open and you can apply the product with your fingers or a makeup brush easily! It's very light on your skin, and one sweep of the powder is enough to give you a shimmery glow! You can build up the product to create a more intense highlight, I love using it especially on my nose and cupids bow! The highlight stays on all day, and I absolutely love it! I would recommend this product for both beginners and highlight lovers - you really can't go wrong with this product!

HELLO HIGHLIGHT! THIS is the illuminator you really do need in your life. I was a highlighting newbie and found it hard to find the right shade for my skin. I am very very pale and any sort of highlight I tried just made me look overdone, greasy, and a little disco-ball-ish. Enter, Australis high life Strobe powder ! (Cue Heavenly music) I am using the shade radiance. This highlighter is the perfect mix of glow for us pasty ladies and doesn't make you look chalky. It can be applied subtly enough to be worn to work- I find where it really pops is when it is applied under a defined brow. I also love to put it along my nose and at the very tops of my cheeks above my blush. At the end of the working day my highlighter has not sunken in to my skin or made the bridge of my nose look like an oily slide. It is so perfect for those starting out with a highlighter, those who have lighter skin and just want a subtle glow, or those who are just after that "Is she or isn't she?" look. I am still on my first purchase as the product does last a long while. I recommend applying with a fan brush or another clean, flat brush and building to your desired affect.
