Enriched with nourishing Vitamin E, its oil-free and emulsifier-free formula is hypoallergenic, fragrance-free and won't block your pores, making it ideal for very sensitive or oily skin. Plus, the ultra-light lotion spreads and absorbs fast, so it feels pleasant and non-sticky and is suitable to use under makeup too.

Great product

Love this spf 50+ Cetaphil Sun Ultra-light Lotion. It’s affordable and does what it says. I used this over the last Sumer and my skin was saved from sunburns. I usually get sunburned very quickly but thanks to this I didn’t have any sunburns. I love how it’s not overly thick or too light, it gets absorbed into my skin and keeps my skin hydrated. There is no unpleasant fragrances and I reapplied every 5 hours.will be buying a another bottle for this summer because my friends and family finished this one

Protects skin from burning

I love a sunscreen with 50 + protection and really like this cetaphil lotion. It does say ultra light and while it feels light to wear I did have to spend time rubbing it right in. Having said that it gives great protection from burning and is great for anti ageing as it doesn’t let harmful up rays in. It is a little thick but doesn’t leave my skin oily and won’t irritate sensitive skin. I save this lotion just for the beach and swimming as I Like a lighter lotion under makeup, it certainly stops burning effectively though. It’s a great price and has no nasty smell like some sun products have, overall I really liked this and would recommend it

Thick instead of ultra-light

I was so disappointed in this sunscreen. I have oily skin and I am always in the hunt for beauty products that balance the oiliness and don't add to it. Therefore I was mesmerized by the promise of an ultra-light lotion and unfortunately was greeted with a super-thick cream. It also didn't absorb easily, I really had to rub it in (which is not good when you have sensitive skin as I do). That meant that I wasn't able to wear it under makeup. The only good thing was that I didn't get sunburned whilst applying this sun protection and it really seemed to be water-resistant. Luckily, it didn't leave white marks on my body after coming out of the water.

This sunscreen is oily but doesn't make me break out. I do look shiny during the day but the results of using it every day have made my skin look a lot less red than it used to. The bottle comes with so much product I have been using it for a year. You only need a pea sized amount to cover your face and neck. A con of this product is if you use too much your face can look very white and shiny.

This is an absolute life saver!! Everyone tells you that the way to prevent premature aging is by protecting your skin from the sun daily, however as my skin is so prone to break outs I used to have to choice between clear skin or protection from the sun. I was so happy when I came across this product, I have been using this daily for a couple of months now & it doesn't make my break out. Applies really well and dries matte. I normally apply it to my face in the morning, leave it for 10 or so minutes whilst I do my hair and then apply my make up over the top. Absolutely amazing !
