As much as I absolutely love Chanel, I avoided this lip balm for the longest time assuming it was just a mediocre yet over priced balm in designer packaging.  Boy, was I wrong!  This has to be the best balm I have ever used.  I love the melty texture, but surprisingly it lingers for a really long time on my lips and feels amazingly nourishing.  I wish I had got onto this lip balm sooner.  It's seriously good and quite different from anything I've ever tried.  Camellia wax... Who knew it was such an amazingly nourishing product!  My new go-to lip balm and I highly recommend it.  The lip balm fanatics will absolutely love this.
I would consider myself a lip balm addict. I have a dry lip phobia and I feel that seeing dry lips on someone is very unattractive.  Considering that lips have no sebaceous glands, it’s imperative that it gets constant external moisturizing.  This formula by Chanel is wonderful.  It has such a firm but easily melting texture.  It’s rich and emollient without being too heavy and tacky.  The fragrance is subtle but pleasant.  It lasted for a while which is always key with balms and I didn’t feel the need to reapply in a hurry.  The monochrome container has a good weight and look to it, that makes it look and feel luxurious.  The only drawback would have to be the price point but it is Chanel.
This is the most expensive lip care balm i have ever gotten, but it does feel beautiful on the lips. The balm comes in a nice glass bottle and feels of great quality. There is a very light floral scent which is very classy. I really do hate it when lip balms feel too fruity or waxy. The consistency of the balm is slightly difficult to explain. It feels light in the sense that it isn't too waxy and is very easy to spread across the lips, but at the same time it has the richness that moisturises the lips. Each application is quite lasting for a good 2-4 hours despite drinking fluids. I use the balm at least 4-5 times a day and despite that, the bottle lasts me a good 3 months. I definitely like the balm, but i am not too sure i can justify buying it all the tip. This is certainly a luxury lip care product.
