Dermalogica Total Eye Care SPF15

This product comes in a small tube with a narrow nozzle, which means that it is easy to control the amount applied to the area and reduces wastage of a pricier product. The eye cream contains spf 15 and a slight pigmentation to it, giving it the feel of a concealer rather than an eye cream; as a result, there is no way that I would waste an application of this before bed and instead reserved for morning use. I found that although there was a slight pigmentation, this brightened the eye area but did not transfer colour and my standard foundation and concealers were still required over the top (although it did serve well as a base to neutralise my dark circles!). This absorbed easily into the skin without irritation. Make-up applied easily over the top.

I would definitely invest in this eye cream because it protects my eye areas against sun damage and reduce puffy eyes and dark circles in the morning. This eye cream has lightweight texture which full absorbs into the skin. This eye cream is super nourishing which helps to reduce fine lines and creases after applying foundation.

Dermalogica Total Eye Care is formulated with alpha hydroxy lactic acid which is known to smooth skin. Also added to the formulation is extracts of spiraea, hydrocotyl and bisabolol. Combined, these extracts work to reduce puffiness and fine lines. The eye cream comes in a small 15 ml squeeze tube. Unscrewing the lid reveals a narrow nozzle to dispense the product, giving better control of the amount used . The cream product has a salmon hue and has a very faint natural scent. Only a small dot of product is needed for the eye area. I apply gently around the eye following the orbital bone. The eye cream has SPF, which is a nice addition, but a rating of 15 is not high enough for me, so I have continued to apply my regular sunscreen under my eye area. This product absorbs really quickly. Although it does have a salmon tint, it really does not translate and there is no colour noticeable once applied onto the skin. After using for a few weeks, I have not noticed any improvements to my eye area. My puffiness remains and my fine lines look the same. The Dermalogica Total Eye Care is a mediocre eye product in my opinion. I really need an eye cream to be more hydrating. This would be a good product for the younger users who don't need help for their eye area. But being older, I want more from my eye cream.

My go to day time eye cream! This is perfect for the day as it has SPF in it which is something I love my skin care products to have! So important to protect your skin from the elements!  Another thing that I really like about this product is that is lightly tinted and really helps to combat that under eye darkness we all can be a victim of! It has a lovely fresh and mild scent and is great to help with brightening up the eye area to due its brightening properties. I have used this product for over 4 months now and still have quite a bit left in the tube! So it lasts a really long time! Definitely a great product to add into your daily skin routine!
