Dermalogica UltraCalming™ Skin Kit

I bought this mini set after having a Dermalogica facial and the lady advising me to use the 'ultra calming' products, I'd never tried any Dermalogica products before this. I have very dry sensitive skin with rosacea and some texture issues, and have to be really careful about the products I use.  The pack consists of four mini products: cleanser, mist, barrier repair (moisturiser) and concentrate serum.  Firstly the size of these products are perfect, enough to use to be able to get an idea whether you like them enough and see a visible difference (if any) to the skin. The cleanser is nice, good as a second cleanse, I did try it to remove my make up and it didn't get everything off, so wouldn't recommend it as a first cleanse.  The mist is good but  I'm not keen on the very mild scent, however it did feel cooling and refreshing on the skin, when used. The barrier repair is a gel like moisturiser, easily absorbed into my skin and leaves my skin hydrated after use. The star of this set to me is the serum, I love it so much I've bought the full size product, it feels very lightweight and sinks into my skin, some times i've not even followed up with moisturiser as my skin has felt so soft and smooth.  All in all this set is great, my skin has loved these products, I've had no dryness and nil irritation to them and can honestly say that my rosacea redness diminished after a few days of use. The Dermalogica range is a little pricey for the full size, so I recommend buying this set to see if you like them before committing to the full size. Definitely recommend!!!

This is a fantastic boxed set that contains 4 of the best-selling products of Dermalogica's Ultra Calming skincare range. It is ideal for trying the range without committing to the expense of full size products, and of course is perfect for packing in the luggage if you're going on a trip. I've used this kit for the first reason - to see how my skin responded to these products without paying too much in the process. I've had Dermalogica facials before and this kit was recommended to me by my facialist.  I found this kit worked really well for my sensitive skin. The cleansing gel is thorough but soothing, and is ideal as both a morning cleanser,and to remove makeup at night. My skin can't get enough of the facial mist, I've since purchased this gem and have posted a separate review of it on here. The serum is soothing and helps improve overall skin appearance and texture, plus keeps facial redness under control. Lastly, I've tried the Barrier Repair moisturiser in the past - it's a pretty unique product, a thick gel type of moisturiser, but for sensitive skin is absolutely perfect. Used in combination over a couple of weeks, this set really helped improve the condition of my sensitive skin and definitely kept my facial redness under control.  I highly recommend this set for anyone with sensitive skin

Was given a sample size of the Dermalogica 'Ultra Calming' range after having one their skin brightening treatments. It's designed for super sensitive skin. I found these products really nice on my skin and they certainly did calm down any redness. They were also non-greasy and left my skin feeling fresh and clean. Highly recommended!
