Designer Brands Firming Age Revive Pressed Powder

I'm very specific with pressed powders because I have dry skin and some pressed powders can make my skin looking very dry and encourage creases under my eye areas. However, the formula of this press powder is very fine and smooth it doesn't look cakey on skin. Instead it makes my skin look more flawless and doesn't exaggerate my pores or dry out my skin. Recommend!

The designer brands firming age revive pressed powder is a great anti ageing powder that keeps shine at bay. First of all it comes at a great price so it’s wallet friendly which is great. I have an oily tzone and when using this lightly over my foundation or B.B. cream it keeps oil at bay. I loved that this does not go cakey like some powders as I hate that fake overdone look. It feels nice and light to wear and looks natural. There was no scent and it didn’t irritate skin. This powder sets my foundation perfectly and the addition of peptides plumps and hydrated skin. The powder is packaged nicely and is easy to use, I like a large brush. The effects last all day and I love that it keeps my shine at bay. I really loved this pressed powder for the great price, I must admit iv used better ones, however they have come with a much more expensive price tag. This is a great value powder that decreases shine and I would recommend it.

I don't usually use pressed powders as I prefer a minimal cover for everyday use so I usually use a BB cream and leave it at that but I received this as a gift and gave it a go. It felt great on my skin. It didn't feel 'cakey' or too heavy on my face. It also lasted for the night. It didn't give me that over done look either which is great as I'm not heavy on the foundation and hate that look where it looks like you dipped your face in the flour pot! I al also quite fair which can make the powder face look even worse. It also did a fantastic job at hiding my oil. As a teenager/20 something I always had oily skin, particularly in my T zone area and as I have gone further into my 30's my skin has held on to the oily nose and large pores in my nose area. I found this did a really good job of keeping the oil at bay and minimising the appearance of my pores. I did use it over the top of a foundation and concealer when going to a function. I also found that it didn't 'creep' into fine lines around the eye area which is never a great look. Even though I received this as a gift I would consider purchasing this. I have used it a few times now and its lasting really well. Its very good value for money.
