Designer Brands Pore Minimising Primer

I always wear a primer under my foundation or BB cream simply for the fact that it creates a beautiful canvas of smooth skin.  I usually use one of two very lightweight cream primers which never let me down but I had read some very positive reviews on the Designer Brands Pore Minimising Primer so I thought I’d try it out.    This silicon based primer glides so effortlessly over my skin creating a velvety finish.  I don’t have large pores but I can see that even the small pores on my nose are almost invisible when I apply this primer.  Plus, my fine lines appear blurred which is a bonus.  The primer is tinted – very light beige – but it doesn’t change the colour of my skin once it's applied.    My foundation and BB cream look flawless over the Designer Brands Pore Minimising Primer so I can totally recommend this product as a primer that does an amazing job.   

Love this product, the primer works really well with my skin, I have combination skin and find it hard to find a pore minimising primer that works, it takes a little longer to dry on my skin but that’s fine I just fan it a little so it drys faster, this creates a great base for my foundation and stops my oily areas going blotchy, I use my fingers to blend rather then a brush which works perfectly, I think the bottle could do with a change an easier to apply bottle but other then that love this product

I had really never used a primer before but was discussing this with a friend who recommended a pore minimising primer for excellent results so I tried this one as it was economical. I absolutely love the results this gives, I have slightly oily skin and this primer seemed to fix this problem so my makeup glided on effortlessly. It left my skin smooth and soft with a nice matte finish and did visibly reduce the appearance of pores giving me a more youthful glow. It made foundation easier to apply. I cant see any cons for this product, it just achieves a great result every time.

This primer applies smoothly and spreads easily onto my skin. I just squeeze out a little onto my fingers and apply to my face. It gives my skin a soft supple look and makes my blemishes disappear. It also doesn't dry out or irritate my skin. My skin looks soft and clear and my face looks good with evened skin tone. This primer is affordable and gives excellent results for the price.  Pros: -low priced, does not irritate skin Cons: -sometimes I have to wait a few minutes for it to fully dry on my skin Tips: -apply with your fingers and blend for flawless finish Recommendation: -this very affordable primer would suit anyone who wants a daily use primer which is non irritating and provides even coverage and finish 

This primer works really well with my skin! I have combination, dry, sensitive skin and this product glided on smoothly, and left my skin feeling silky soft without over drying. It does make pores less visible and creates a great base for foundation as it helps to fill fine lines and smooth out rough patches as it sets. It was easy to smooth on without too much harsh rubbing and as it is a very light colour didn't clash with my foundation. There was no overpowering scent like some other brands I have tried which was a bonus. It is a great size tube as a little goes a long way and great value for money as it is so affordable. I recommend this as part of a daily makeup routine for anyone who would like their makeup to glide on easily and last all day! Don't be put off by the price, it's a great quality product!

I thought I'd try this primer because I needed a new matte primer and have been so far impressed with the savvy 'Designer Brands' brand. The product squeezes out of the tube in a cream like consistency and is a pale beige in colour. It has a mild scent which goes away once it dries. You will notice immediately after you apply it that your skin will feel silky smooth and your pores are dramatically smaller. It also dries pretty fast which is great because once I've got my foundation ready on the back of my hand I can start applying straight away. Having combo/oily skin which is also acne prone I was most worried about this product breaking me out which a lot of primers on the market do but I am happy to report, this primer which is also talc free does not give me any pimples, yay! The primer keeps my foundation looking smooth and flawless all day, and also helps to combat shine in my oily T-zone, I would definitely recommend this primer and at $15 it's a steal !
