Designer Brands Vivid Glow Illuminator Palette

I have this in the rainbow shades and they are quite lovely colours. Very dusty in the pan and can look a bit powdery on if not applied with some finesse. I found these shades at first to be far more subtle than I was expecting (also I received a damaged one and they didn't offer to replace it or let me exchange it - No resolution at all which I found very rude and will never order from them directly again.) But I have tried to make it work since then and applied over a cream highlighter this can produce some good colour and shine pay-off.

Please don't discontinue this DB! It's super intense and pops like crazy. It can be applied lightly too if you choose. The gorgeous champagne palette contains a rose, peach and light gold shade. Its light enough for my pale skin. I find it doesn't apply well with my fan brush. I use a really large flat eyeshadow brush to apply it my upper cheek bones first then buff it in circles with a fluffy brush. That way it looks really intense but well blended into the skin. It's super soft and glowy, not chunky or glittery and it doesn't highlight texture on the skin. This is better than my high end highlighters.

This highlighter palette is comparable, if not even better, to high end brands such as Hourglass, Urban Decay etc. The texture of the highlighters creates the perfect halo, and there is barely any fallout and no chunky glitter, just an overall luminosity  Considering it is drug store makeup, the texture is beautifully soft, and impressively lasts throughout the day. An affordable option to those on a beauty budget, that produces the same beautiful results as it's higher end competitor.
