Dove Gentle Exfoliating Nourishing Bar

The Dove Gentle Exfoliating Nourishing Bar is a little harder than the Dove beauty cream bar, therefore it lasts a bit longer. Other than that I find it to be quite similar. It looks the same (some people say that they can see beads, I cannot see them) and has the same scent. In regards to the beads, they are very fine and if I need to exfoliate I find that this product does not deliver the type of exfoliation I need, therefore I usually need to use something different for that. This soap is moisturising and does not dry out my skin which is a bonus for regular use. The last one I opened was made in Germany but I have noticed that the made in country does change from time to time.

The dove gentle exfoliating soap bars are amazing. I've always preferred soap bars over liquid body wash because I feel like they clean my body better (not sure if I'm correct or not). I usually use a body scrub after I use soap but now that I have come across this product, I don't need to use a scrub after. The beads in the soap bar are super gentle and very helpful to target dry skin, ingrown hairs and I feel its helped lighten my stretch marks. The smell from the soap is very refreshing and makes you feel super clean after using it. I highly recommend this product not only because you reduce your impact on the environment with no packaging but it also means you don't have to buy a body scrub as well. It smells great and works really well on sensitive skin.

I love Dove cleansing bars and have probably tried them all.  I actually picked up the Dove Gentle Exfoliating Bar by mistake but it really didn’t matter as I knew it would still be a beautiful beauty bar.    I wasn’t looking for an exfoliating bar but after reading the description of how the cleansing bar works I thought it would add interest to my showering experience. As with most, if not all, of the Dove beauty bars, this one contains 1/4 moisturising cream which is infused in the formula.  It also contains tiny blue beads which gently polish the skin for a deep clean.  I don’t know how much this beauty bar actually exfoliates my skin but it provides a good wash, smells delightful and does not dry out my skin.  In fact, my skin feels quite soft and nourished.    I suppose my favourite is still the regular Dove Beauty Bar but this is so similar apart from the tiny blue beads.  So, yes, it’s worth recommending.  

I wear makeup everyday so I make sure my face is cleanse properly with no dirty residue on my skin before applying skincare. The Dove Gentle Exfoliating Nourishing Bar gives my face a gentle exfoliate just enough to remove any makeup and grimes without drying out my skin. My face feels very smooth after use and because it is such a gentle soap, I can use it every day.

I have been using the regular Dove Beauty Bar for years and while I like this as well, it does not actually exfoliate much - it has very sparse granules in it, but I wouldn't rely on those for a good exfoliation. I still use a bath glove or a loofah if I want to exfoliate in the shower. It has a similar scent to the original beauty bar. Once every now and then I purchase this version just to change it up a little bit. Apart from the tiny granules I do not think that this is different from a regular Dove bar - so it still smells good, cleanses well and does not dry my skin up.

I love Dove's original beauty bar so wanted to try Dove's Gentle Exfoliating Nourishing Bar. This soap cleans, exfoliates and nourishes your skin at at once and contains 1/4 moisturising cream so your skin doesn't dry out like other soaps can. This beauty soap is one of my favourite bar soap to use. It has a nice gentle scent to it that is lovely and a really rich and creamy lather that feels really luxurious on your skin as you wash. I also really like the shape of this bar soap, it's nicely curved and fits neatly and comfortably in your hand so you don't drop it. It is fantastic at cleansing my skin and left my body feeling really clean and fresh after each shower. It has tiny blue beads to exfoliate your skin that helps to remove the dead skin cell from your body to reveal the fresh healthy skin underneath.  I found this bar soap to be very gentle on my skin, doesn't irritate it at all even with daily use and is suitable for use everyday without fear of over exfoliating or damaging your skin . The 1/4 moisturising cream in this bar soap makes it a stand out from other soaps. After cleansing my body, my skin doesn't feel dry and tight, instead it feels beautifully moisturised and soft, like it has just been pampered. After using this exfoliating beauty bar for a couple of days, my verdict is that this is just as good as the original Dove soap. Overall I love the rich lather of this soap and the 1/4 moisturising cream and would recommend to anyone who wants a gentle exfoliating bar soap that wouldn't irritate your skin and is gentle to use everyday.

This is the only 'soap' I can use on my skin, as I have OCD, I wash my hands a lot everyday. My hands used to get extremely dry, rough and cracked but since switching to Dove Gentle Exfoliating Nourishing Bar my hands are now soft and supple even though I still wash my hands many times everyday. I swear by this product. It's the only 'soap' I use.

I've always loved exfoliating soaps, and this Dove Gentle Exfoliating Nourishing Bar is such a cult classic, and a product that brings back many fond memories for me. The bar itself is shaped perfectly to fit nicely into the hand. Forget ergonomic chairs, this is one deluxe ergonomic soap! The curves are pleasing to the touch; no hard, sharp corners on this baby! The lather created when rubbed on moist skin is rich, creamy and indulgent! This makes showering such an enjoyable, pampering experience. Then there's the exfoliating aspect! I'm one of those people that really enjoys exfoliating my body, and the delightful thing about this soap is that you get that satisfying scrubby feeling whilst also enjoying a gentle cleanse with creamy bubbles. This Dove Bar smells amazing, too. It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, clean and completely revitalised. My skin is moisturised and nourished, looks healthy and feels wonderful. Love the Dove? I certainly do!

Dove soaps are a treasure to use and enjoy. I buy these soaps whenever I want to give my body a treat filled with fragrance and gentle exfoliating. It is a perfectly grooved shape which fits into the palm of my hands. This soap has the beautiful and captivating Dove fragrance which lingers lightly on my skin and makes me feel energised and refreshed and smells so clean.  I recommend this mild exfoliating soap for females and males who want a soft scent which exfoliates and gently gives a soft touch to the skin. 

The Dove exfoliating bar is great.  Its like the Dove beauty cream bar, except it also exfoliates! Its smells amazing (I just love the Dove scent), lathers up well and is so soft and creamy on the skin. Exactly what I am looking in an exfoliater.  My skin doesn't feel tight after using Dove, instead it's soft, clean and exfoliated.  The Dove nourishing bar is a staple in my bathroom. At such an affordable price, it's get the full 5 stars from me. 

Great gentle soap for sensitive skin, cannot recommend enough. You get the benefits of an exfoliate without irritating your skin which is an absolute dream for me

Although liquid and foam soaps are very popular now, I like to have a classic soap bar in my bathroom. Dove has been my favourite soap for ages, its smell brings back good memories too. I simply can’t fault it. First of all I love the beautiful shape of the bar, looks pretty on the vanity, next, I can’t get enough of its classic, fresh scent . This soap cleanses thoroughly (even the grubbiest little hands) without drying. It actually softens the skin.I love the creamy foam it creates ( who doesn’t love that sensation?).  This soap bar has never caused any bad reactions or irritation in my family, even my three year old daughter uses it when she has a bath. I have to admit that sometimes I even wash my face in it ( in the morning or after a workout) and I never noticed any drying or tightness. I also keep a bar or two in my bed linen and towel cupboard to make my towels and sheets smell pretty. I highly recommend.

I  love this soap! I swear by it. It doesn't  dry out my skin -  I have eczema and I can still use it.  It's also very cheap! Win win!
