Embryolisse Hydra Serum

This hydrating serum from Embryolisse is marketed as containing 'highly moisturising active ingredients '. Upon inspection of the ingredients, there's nothing groundbreaking - glycerin, propanediol, sodium hyaluronate are commonly found in hydrating toners and serums. Perhaps the only unusual ingredient is White nymphaea flower extract, which is an antioxidant. The first thing I noticed during application is the strong fragrance. I don't mind a little fragrance, but found this one overpowering. It may not be the best option for sensitive skin. The serum itself is hydrating, but no better than other hydrating serums on the market. I just don't think this is worth the price tag of $62. There are better options on the market for less than half the price. The fragrance was also too much.
