Garbo & Kelly Overnight Sensation Eyeshadow Palette

This is high quality eye-shadow guys! It blends so beautifully and the colours work wonderfully together to create a magic eye look for day or night! What I find with some eyeshadow is the colours don't stand out on their own and they all end up looking samey on the eyes, well all the colours in this palette are unique and look different on the eyes.  They last from morning to night. The shadows are soft and creamy. The mattes and shimmers are equally great quality. The shimmers are absolutely beautiful and light catching.The eyeshadow brush included is lovely to work with. You will not regret spending the money on this palette. Your eyes will be accentuated beautifully with this palette and you will find even if you are beginner it's so easy to work with. 

Such a beauty palette with amazing colours that can create many eye looks. Most colours can be wore alone for everyday looks and the powders are super fine and pigmented. The shimmer colours gives a gentle glittery look which I love and the packaging is nice too. The price is affordable .

This is the 2nd Garbo & Kelly product that I have purchased and so far, I find the quality of this brand to be exceptional. I don’t understand why this brand isn’t more well known.  This is one of my favourite eyeshadow palettes that I have ever purchased and believe me, that is saying something as I have quite the collection from drug store to high end. This palette is beautifully packaged in a sleek and sturdy case and contains the perfect range of shades for a wide variety of looks.  Some of the shades do have a little bit of fallout but I believe that is due to the fact that they are so pigmented. A little bit goes a long way and really you only need to lightly touch your brush to the product in order to pickup enough for most looks. I liken the formula to that of the most recent ABH palettes. The formula is smooth, pigmented, finely milled and very easy to blend. The colours compliment one another beautifully and I was pleasantly surprised with the blue shade as I had not expected it to be wearable on myself, blue is not usually a colour that I would play with but I just had to try it and I’m glad I did!  Most of my eyeshadow palettes have only a few colours that I use and the rest remain untouched but I can honestly say that I regularly use every single shade in this palette. I am not even reaching for any other palettes at the moment. I hope that more people will try this brand and that it will become more well known as it is definitely worthy of more fame. I always get compliments on my eye makeup and am asked what shadow I used. I am slowly teaching the world about how great Garbo & Kelly is! I don’t think that anyone would be disappointed with this product.

Although I’ve heard nothing but praise for Garbo & Kelly products over the last year or so, until recently I hadn’t tried any of their products. This was mainly due to the fact my skin has been really difficult lately, and I have all but stopped wearing makeup in an effort to help it settle down…sigh. However, a few weeks ago whenI was craving a little retail therapy I stumbled upon the brand whilst browsing Adore Beauty and of course, couldn’t resist.   I think a good product starts with a decent brand, and from everything I have seen and heard about Garbo & Kelly they definitely tick that box. They are vegan and cruelty free – oh and they’re Australian, so really, your guilty splurge is helping to strengthen the economy ha-ha.   Now to the product...   This Overnight Sensation Eyeshadow Palette comes in really luxe looking black packaging with gorgeous metallic writing/detailing.  The packaging is a firm cardboard which so far seems sturdy and reliable, however it is only a magnetic lock which I am always a little nervous of. Inside the case there are 14 beautiful eyeshadow colours, and a double-ended brush (again super cute and metallic). The brush ends are both rather flat, and surprisingly soft and effective at applying the eyeshadows to different parts of the eye. This is a great addition to the palette, and it is probably only one of a few brushes I haven’t thrown in the bin immediately after opening the palette.   The eyeshadows provide a range of colours and finishes, ranging from mattes to shimmery metallics. The shadows all have galaxy-based names, which I think adds to the cuteness of the palette as a whole. The colours included in the palette are: -      Halo: metallic cream; -      Astrid: metallic burnt orange; -      Ophelia: metallic taupe; -      Pandora: metallic medium brown; -      Aurora: metallic rose; -      Gemini: metallic rose gold; -      Nova: matte black; -      Stella: metallic gold; -      Venus: metallic bronze; -      Luna: matte cream; -      Cosmo: metallic teal; -      Aries: matte medium brown; -      Halley: matte dark brown; -      Jupiter: metallic gold.   The quality of the eyeshadows is really impressive – creamy, blend-able, consistent, and super pigmented. I have noticed a little fall out, but nothing worth being concerned over. The wear and longevity are also really impressive, I’ve worn the different for 8+ hours and at the end they still look as beautiful as when I applied them. I’ve also tried the shadows over a primer – and although I do think it provides improve the performance slightly, it really isn’t a necessity.   In regard to value for money – $70 for 14 beautiful and wearable shades is completely justifiable. I have paid more than double this for some palettes that I’ve ended up giving away because I use two shades and don’t like any of the others on my skin. The neutral colours are extremely wearable – Venus and Pandora are my favourites at the moment, but they all work well together, and the brighter colours provide a nice ‘pop’ when it’s needed.   For the record, I have warm skin undertones and tan well in summer and I love these colours on my skin. But I’ve also used them on my sister (who is cool toned) and they are stunning on her too. I think these shades are neutral based and able compliment both ends of the skin tone spectrum. Yay! Also, I have super sensitive skin, especially around my eyes, but am yet to have any issues/irritations from this product.   I’ve given this product 5/5 stars as it ticks all the boxes for me. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile and useable palette and cannot wait to try more Garbo and Kelly products!   P.S. the ingredients listed on the website are as follows for anyone that may need them.. I bought this when Garbo & Kelly first launched so I couldn't find any reviews on the palette. The shades looked gorgeous but it's always hit and miss when buying a product you've heard nothing about. Luckily this was a hit! Firstly, I ordered from the website and everything was packaged so safely. The packaging is incredible on both the product and the cardboard packaging. The stars on the black packaging looks and feels so luxe. I also love the star print on the actual shadows.  This palette will suit everyone. There's 14 shades with a fantastic mix of wearable everyday colours along with some beautiful pops of colours. For someone who mostly uses browns and champagne shades, the colourful shades are very wearable and work so well with the neutral shades. It means that the colourful shades don't feel intimidating or overwhelming. I recently took this overseas with me and it was the perfect palette to take as I could use it to create basic looks as well as use the darker and brighter colours for nights out.  I love that the palette comes with a mirror as it's handy especially while travelling. It also comes with a double ended brush. I don't use it, but it's a great option just in case. The palette is around the same price as a Urban Decay, ABH or Too Faced palette and it's a similar quality. The shades are pigmented and there is a little bit of fall out, so I apply the shadows first then set under my eyes. I reach for this over most of my other eyeshadow palettes in my collection because I adore the colours and the palette never fails me. It's such an underrated palette. 

When they say highly pigmented, they seriously mean it! This eyeshadow palette is gorgeous and glamorous and sparkly, with every shade you could possibly need for daytime and nighttime looks. You only need a dab of colour on your eyeshadow brush because the colours really are pigmented and long-lasting, which gives you bang for your buck! If you're looking for one palette to do it all, definitely check this one out. My absolute favourite shades are Aries and Halley, which are a stunning, almost burnt looking, shimmery gold and a dark, matte brown. These go together beautifully on the lid, but if you want a softer, more ethereal look, Astrid also goes perfectly with Aries. It's a soft, shimmery, peachy pink and paired with the gold makes me look and feel like a fairy princess! Pros:  - Super pigmented - Wide range of colours for every occasion  - The shimmery colours are beautiful and not too crazy - The mattes are wonderful crease colours Cons: - Aurora and Cosmo are the only two colours I'm not a fan of (vibrant pink and bright blue)

I bought this beauty impulsively and I'm so glad I did! It hasgorgeoys colours that go on smoothly and don't flake or look "dusty"  I love that i can use the matte colours for day time at work and the shimmery colours at night all in the one small convenient palette. I'll be replacing mine BEFORE I run out of product

These eyeshadows from Garbo & Kelly are absolutely incredible! The kind of gorgeous where you swatch these on your arm and gasp - they're so buttery, flattering and pigmented! And they blend out so nicely together without looking muddy. Other than the incredible quality you're getting here, the best thing about this palette is the way this can give you a beautiful neutral look for daily wear, or a more colourful glam look. You get a good shade selection of neutral mattes to mix up with the more shimmery, metallic shades. You don't need any other eyeshadows with this palette! Nothing worse than needing multiple palettes to finish your look, and it's definitely not the case here. You even get a really good double sided brush which is soft and great for finishing a look! I normally need to use about 3 eyeshadow brushes to feel satisfied with how a product looks on my eyes, but this brush works perfectly with these shadows. I would highly recommend this eyeshadow palette because there is so much variety between the 14 shades and they are the perfect finish to an awesome look!
