Garnier Fructis Hair Food Watermelon Treatment

I adore some truly luxe hair products...there is just something about using a brand that looks as stunning in your bathroom as the results you get after using it,the scent of a fragrance house collab'd leave in conditioner that wafts through your day like a holiday memory,it all just makes a daily chore like hair washing a joy,but then,several years ago,i tried Garnier...and converted.So when this summery version of the hair treatment i use often came out,i was visiting my local store ASAP to get it. This Garnier Fructis Hair Food Watermelon Treatment is a must try if soft,silky,manageable hair is something you miss getting at your hairdresser of late...it manged to get my fine,long (and in desperate need of a trim) hair in much better shape,and it truly helped with breakage (i wear my hair up and in hair ties all day,every day (for work,and because i reeeeally do need a cut... my hair is a bit longer than i like to leave loose),helped to repair that split end frizz i am struggling with AND plus,AND was rich enough to feel like a luxurious hair mask (yet rinseable enough to not weigh hair down).I use it twice a week and even hubby has taken to using it to manage his "steel wool" crop. At around $10 for a massive tub (that lasts for a good couple of months)and,as a bonus,smells like a summer holiday (it really does smell like a soft watermelon iceblock),this hair treatment is a must get to spoil yourself during these days in isolation (and to remind us that better days will come soon with Spring just around the corner.

I had good experience with other Garnier hair food mask in the past. I'm happy with the results it gives for my dry hair. The packaging is simple large tub. It is thick, creamy consistency. But the smell not feel natural watermelon to me. This can use 3 different ways. This can use as conditioner, a mask or leave in. But my preferred way to use this is a leave in conditioner. I used small amount of it on my towel dried wet hair applied it mainly focusing mid lengths and ends. After using this watermelon hair food my hair feel softer, manageable and healthy looking with out weigh down. I would definitely buy this again and I love to try other range as well.

I use it as a conditioner as well as deep conditioning mask after washing my hair.. it comes in this huge tub which will last me forever. I like how my hair feels later and also the smell that lingers on .. makes my hair soft and manageable.This is not for you if you prefer something without perfume.. as it has strong fruity smell which I do not mind .. I would buy it once done with the current tub .. the packaging says that it can be used as a leave in conditioner as well but I have not tried it yet.

I found this product to be perfect for rehydrating and conditioning my winter dry hair. I prefer to use it as a conditioner and wash it out. The smell is fantastic and certainly adds to the positives of this product. I also love that Garnier is striving to be a sustainable brand and this product uses safe ingredients. Another plus is that it us a lot of product for a very reasonable price. I find that I don't need to use a lot to get excellent results, so this container will last me a long time. If I had to pick a criticism it's that this container is quite large and doesn't fit into my shower caddy, but I can always decant some of it into a smaller container. I also prefer tamper-proof products, so I would prefer if it came with some sort of foil seal under the lid. Overall, this is an excellent product that is fun and easy to use and hydrates my hair well.

Let's start with the fact that the pot is HUGE, and a little goes a long way so it will definitely last a while. It was clearly stated on the pot how to use the product - either as a conditioner, leave in conditioner or a hair mask, so naturally I had to try all three!! The product smells so good, you almost want to eat it, and the scent lingers in your hair for the rest of the day. The pot states that the ingredients are 97% naturally derived which is great as you know you won't have any unwelcome chemicals damaging your hair. My hair felt softer but more voluminous after use and that, combined with the gorgeous smell means I would definitely recommend this product!

This product smells like watermelon flavoured lollies. If that's not the kind of thing you're into then I wouldn't recommend this particular scent. My hair is straight and fine, so I usually err on the side of caution when applying products as it tends to make my hair look oily and lifeless. This was no exception, no matter how I applied. The best was using it as a conditioner and washing out afterwards, but I still felt like my hair looked oilier than usual when it dried. Might be better for thicker hair that needs moisture.

This smells incredible! It's quite a strong fruity watermelon scent when I use it and it leaves a subtle smell to my hair the few days after I've washed it. I used it as a conditioner. I left it in my hair for a few minutes after shampooing and then washed it out. The product is quite thick and a little goes a long way which is great. It felt nice and made my hair feel smooth as I was washing it, but after my hair gets quite dry and tangles really easily, so I don't think it is doing a lot for my hair's health. I usually use 100% natural products, so the fact this is mostly natural products is great! Garnier is taking a step in the right direction.

As the name suggests, the product is actually "hair food". Almost no nasties. Really enjoyed using this product. It adds volume to my hair, and makes it look well kempt! I have fine hair, and apply this on a bad hair day, works every time for me. The smell is lovely, hubby loved the fruity smell, lasted all through the day. I would recommended this as you can use it 3 ways, I used it like a leave in conditioner the most. I generally enjoy Garnier products, and will be buying this once I get through the current tub!

This product smells AMAZING! The watermelon scent is spot on and not too overpowering like some other scented hair masks or products which is such a nice change. The texture felt thick and luscious and left my hair feeling strong, silky and smooth. I have quite fine hair that tangles quite easily and after using this product as a mask, I found it easy to brush through and get rid of any tangles which is a godsend for me! I would absolutely recommend this as an affordable alternative to a lot of other hair masks out there.

This is my new favourite product to use when I wash my hair! It detangles better than other conditioners and gives hold and definition to my very fine curly hair. Plus, the watermelon smell is amazing. I use it mainly as a mask in the shower, followed by conditioner, and if leaves my hair feeling soft but with hold, it doesn't weight it down. It makes my 3a curls look well defined and bouncy. First time I used it, my friends complemented how my hair looked, and I hadn't even styled it! In the last 3 weeks, I have resisted not using it once when washing my hair just to see if noticed the difference and I felt that I had a bad hair day on a day I washed my hair. At this price point, it's definitely on the must-have in my hair wash routine!

I CANT EXPLAIN HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS! I use it to hold my curls in, I use it as a hair mask and I use it as conditioner. NOT only does this product make your hair soft and smoothe for days but the smell it keeps on your hair is amazing people compliment me when I walk past. Never been a fan of garnier products but this is a game changer for me and I have gone out and got the other flavours as well! This is defintly soemthing that has now become part of my beauty routine and something that I will continue to use. Girls with curly and straight hair purchase this is honestly a god send for both types of hair!

Very fruity or watermeloney smell. I like the overall product. Easy to apply and rinse. Make the hair look smooth. It doesn’t make my hair look dull, oily or decrease the overall volume. I think it’s really a nice product. Couldn't recommend this product enough tho .... Literally thee best thing. Being in hospital for three days it left my hair feeling and looking like I had just washed it that day. .. Not to mention my two year absolutely loves me putting it in his hair cause he calls it " best food hair" This is the first hair product I've used from Garnier and I'm pretty sure after using it I will be switching to Garnier in the future, The hair good makes the oils in my hair disappear and becomes more bouncer after using it I get compliments on the daily about how amazing my hair looks and smells. Which I never have had with other products.. The only problem that I have with it is the cream texture doesn't like going in my hair. When it's freshly washed with condition so I use it in between the shampoo and conditioner step. Which is what it can be used for anyway. I've given friends a little bit to try and they say they've never felt the hair this oil free and the volume it gave was great. They went out and brought a tub the next day. I don't think there's anything that they need to or should change within the product. I love the fact that it is almost all natural and 98% biodegradable too And I also think the description mentioned in the product is a true review, which basically tell us that the product is made up of 97% of natural origin ingredients – which means no nasty chemicals and its also enriched with volumising watermelon to give volume, bounce and movement to fine hair. And its so good to know about the multiple uses with a single product i.e. we can use it in 3 ways: as a mask, intense conditioner or leave-in treatment, I use it every week after my regular shampoo and conditioning and its working amazing for me. really liked the product and it has a pleasant watermelon scent! It is easy to apply; all you have to do is dip your hands into it, scoop out some product, and massage it into your hair. It rinses out well too. I have fine, dry hair. I have used this as a mask after my conditioner and it has been leaving my hair feeling intensely hydrated, softer and smoother looking. Compared to L'oreal Elvive, this product has more natural smell and light texture. It really smells like a watermelon juice (only a little stronger) and it's vegan too! In the past, I used too many chemical products on my hair resulting it becomes a dry lump of haystack! Took me a while to find a good hair mask that doesn't do more damage to my hair. Hence I can say this product ticks that box. It's light, creamy, easily comes off but still leaves you that silky sensation at the end. I use this product 3 times a week as a hair mask, leave it there for good minute and rinse. You'll be surprised amongst all the Fructis line, this one is the winner!! I have used other granite hair food products so I was keen to give this volumising one a try. This worked great for my thin hair, I mainly used it as a conditioner and treatment while in the shower. But that’s just my laziness.I’ve tried all three ways and for someone with quite fine, bleached/damaged hair that often gets greasy quite quickly... my hair took well to the product! My favourite way to use this product is by doing a mask once a week, I found my hair softer, silky, visibly thicker and with less fly aways/visible broken ends. I also found that it didn’t sit too heavy in my hair which some similar products can do to my fine hair after a day or two. I didn’t find this product absolutely ground breaking, but I did like it, and would recommend it for anyone that’s looking to try to replenish their hair without spending a fortune! It smells incredible and I really appreciate the value for money and love that it’s vegan, cruelty free and derived from 97% natural ingredients! If you’re looking for a hair mask that leaves your hair feeling nourished this is it! The best part of the product is it’s amazing scent that reminds me eating watermelon candy as a kid, if they sold it as a fragrance I would 100% buy it. The scent doesn’t last as long as I would like, however I love that it’s a multi use product, even after using it as a regular mask I can keep reapplying it throughout the week to rehydrate the ends of my hair. It has a lovely silky texture that doesn’t cause build up and cause the hair to be weighed down, my hair keeps the volume it had from day one.

I have to start this review by saying this product smells absolutely wonderful (so fruity!) and who wouldn't want their hair smelling amazing. Some hair masks can leave your hair feeling a bit heavy or oily but this left my hair feeling quite light and fresh. Overall I wouldn't say that it made a really significant difference to the damage in my hair but it was nice for controlling and my hair and making it feel soft. I would recommend this for anyone that loves a good scent, is looking for an affordable product and doesn't hair overly dry or damaged hair that needs a lot of work.

The product is average, the smell is amazing, and the package is cute, but I did not see a lot of difference comparing to normal conditioners. I have used after shampooing because of lack of time to do it, so that might have affected the results, as maybe using as a mask the results are better. The texture is good, and the smell is amazing, so even if the result is not very different at least your hair is going to smell really nice. I didn't see much difference to other products in the market, but overall is good.

This Garnier fructis hair food watermelon treatment is very good.. i started using this product last month... I found very good results. My hairs got smooth and silky. I use this product after shampoo then i applied this hair food on wet hair and leave it for 2 min then wash my hair.. my hair got shiny and soft.. It also help in reducing the hair fall.. ii highly recommend this product. its good for ur hair................... I love this product...... u can try it once then u find the change........

It always left my hair feeling super soft & shiny. The scent of this product is absolutely to die for & I found myself getting excited to wash my hair just to use it. Although I did not find it particularly volumising on my hair I would highly recommend this product for its value for money & for how it leaves my hair feeling & smelling.

This product smells incredibly amazing. I love the fact that it is almost all natural and 98% biodegradable too. The product label suggests that it has three uses. It can be used as a leave in conditioner, regular conditioner or as treatment. I am happy to use this product as treatment and regular conditioner but I don’t like the way it works as leave in conditioner and it leaves the hair a bit clumsy. Other than that it does a fine job as a conditioner and made hairs look so soft and smooth. I would definitely recommend it to try and see how it makes a difference in your routine.
