GROW Brighter Blonder Miracle Hair Mask

What a waste of time and money! Left my hair un toned and dry. I can’t wait to wash it out. It does nothing that it says it will do. I coated it quite well with the product as my hair wasn't feeling conditioned while it was on. I worried it would leave purple tones but was willing to take the risk just to get a gauge of how much to use and how long to leave it on for, which was about 4 minutes. I have never taken the time to bother doing a review, this is my first. This product went straight in the bin.

Purchased this as my normal products were sold out. I have very light blonde hair which is still very well conditioned. This product did not tone my hair at all, made my hair feel like straw and very frizzy afterwards. Even the normal supermarket products do a better job than this. I wouldnt even use this as a back up, and it’ll be straight in the bin. On top of all this, the instructions aren’t clear - use on clean towel dried hair - does not say whether this is after conditioner or before, and whether to use it afterwards or not. I tried both attempts this week and had the same result each time. Don’t waste your money on this, super overpriced for such a low range product. Smell wasn’t great either.

I am a Level 11 blonde and after a few weeks my brassiness will reduce me down what looks like a level 8. I normally use Fanola no yellow shampoo to eliminate the brass and get me back to a level 11 with a silver ash tone. However as amazing as fanola is it can be very drying to my hair so I bought this to give it a go as it is advertised as a hair mask that not only reduced brassiness but hydrates also. I used as directed and noticed after a few minutes (it advised 5 but I checked at 2) it was very dark purple which I was surprised at. Normally purple masks are quite weak on the toning side and I assumed this would be another like that. I decided to test the part of my hair I began applying the product to first and I saw that section of hair had turned bright bubblegum pink. I rinsed the rest off in a panic immediately and luckily the remainder of my hair had not yet gotten to the pink stage. I am so thankful I checked before the recommended time otherwise I would have had a bright pink head of hair (whilst cute I work in law enforcement so not a good idea).the remainder of my hair on the first half of my head looks ok however the last section of hair I applied it too didn’t stick and has no change. It resulted in a very uneven toning effect even though it took my only a minute to apply it all over evenly. However this is largely due to me rinsing it off earlier than directed. I still have a big stripe of pink hair (which I am aware will rinse/fade out after a few days however it’s about the meantime) so I won’t be using again unfortunately. My advice is stick to fanola (or what you know works best for you) and just use a normal hair mask afterwards to stop it drying out.
