Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara

I'm a firm believer in not splurging on mascaras, but the hype on this was unreal. I tried it and it is very good at volumising and lengthening your lashes to the nth degree. I enjoyed the deep black colour that some drugstore mascaras just don't achieve. In saying that, I feel like I got the same effect using the L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara, which if you buy on sale is ~$15. I don't think I would repurchase this because I just don't think there's anything that spectacular about it that sets it apart from good drugstore mascaras. If money doesn't matter to you then go ahead, you do you.

I love this mascara. Its so good. Lancome Monsieur Big comes in a long black tube with pink writing on the container. (It looks just like a standard mascara). The mascara brush is large and thick as well as extremely coated in ink. While the mascara brush is big it still allows me to get to all my lashes and swipes on easily and smoothly.The brush is slightly wavy so you can really extend it to your lashes. I am able to coat all my lashes evenly including the smaller ones. On application the product does not clump and it separates my lashes evenly. Mostly this mascara elongates my lashes. It does give some volume but wow my lashes look so long. There is also so much fullness with this one. It lasts all day allowing my lashes to stay long and lifted all day and feels comfortable to wear. Its not heavy and it doesn't drop during the day. It does smudge if it gets wet (rain, sweat etc) but otherwise it lasts all day with no issue. You need a strong makeup remover for this one because it takes a little bit of work to remove. While not waterproof it tends to be very strong on the lashes and difficult to remove. Pricey yes but makes my lashes look long, full and false. Lasts all day!Would repurchase and recommend.
