L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss 5 minute Lamination

I've never used a product like this before - I'm normally just a shampoo and conditioner type of gal. But as part of trialling the complete range and with the promise of it only taking an extra five minutes for added smoothness, I gave it a shot. After squinting to see the instructions, I applied just a little to my long, coloured hair. It went on smoothly and easily and, like the other products in the range, smelled delicious. It spread well, all the way through to the ends and felt nice on my hair. The five (okay maybe four) minutes passed pretty quickly and it rinsed off well. I could feel the difference in my hair, both while still wet and when blowdrying. It felt easier to get the brush through my hair and afterwards my locks - with their dry, frizzy ends - were smooth and calmer. While I can't guarantee I'd always spend the extra money and time for this extra step (kind of like using a toner in a skin care routine) I can see the benefits, especially for hair like mine. So overall, I would recommend.

I've been trialing the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss 5-minute Lamination and like the other products the smell of it is amazing, one of the best L'Oreal has come out with. I've been using this product like a hair mask. After I shampoo and condition my hair, I've been adding the Lamination to it and combing it through my hair. I usually step out of the shower or just wait a bit and do my other stuff before rinsing. It makes my hair so smooth and silky to touch. I was worried that it wouldn't rinse out properly or make my hair oily, but I've found its been working great! Definitely recommend this.

As with the serum, shampoo and conditioner this also had a quite plesent smell. I do have quite frizzy hair and after use my hair was less frizzy. After use my hair did look a little bit more shiny but with continued use it didnt do anything to the actual condition of my hair. As with the serum i feel that there are other products for a lot cheaper that do a way better job. In saying that if i someone asked me if i think they should try it, i would say give it a go because it might work better for them.

Thank you for the opportunity to trial the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Gloss 5 Minute lamination. They’ve made this range look really cute. I really enjoyed the smell of this range, it’s to die for. I really loved having my hair have that fragrance to it. But I'm not really convinced this did anything to my hair, I think it got slightly shinier but there might be some more impactful products on the market. My hair felt great already after the conditioner and this felt like it didn't achieve much more. I don’t think it’s worth the money to buy this as it didn’t really do a whole lot to my hair.

I received the Glycolic Gloss Haircare routine as part of a trial and whist I loved the products individually, their scent, consistency and packaging are great on their own. I did find however that using the products as directed left my hair greasy, my scalp feeling thick and my hair showing signs of buildup and caking. The shampoo is quite thick and does lather well however it does take some work to do so The conditioner has a fine consistency but the amount received in the bottle is not comparable to shampoo meaning you run out of it much quicker The hair treatment is the only product I found I loved and would probably repurchase as used with other shampoo and conditioner it does leave the desired results and makes my hair shiny and easy to manage Finally the serum was a bit confusing as it initially appears as if the bottle is glittery however on use of the product the glitter is contained in the product itself, I would have loved this had there been any pay off of this glitter into the hair however it dissolves in the hair but never off the hands and only adds an oily, not shiny, look to the finished product once styled. I’m sure this product would be amazing for those with dry and dull hair however it was simply not for me.

I have loved trialling this range from L’Oreal and incorporating the 5 minute lamination treatment into my hair routine has made a big difference. I find when I use this with the shampoo and conditioner it makes a big difference with taming my frizz. This lamination has to be my favourite from the range with how smooth it makes my hair look and feel. This range has seriously transformed my hair and it’s made it super glossy and super healthy. I love how it extends the time between washes and I love how my hair smells like the range even days after washing my hair. I apply this after the conditioner to towel dry hair and let it do its magic. I apply it all over and once applied it becomes thick and really moisturise and hydrated my locks. I will continue to use this range post trial. It has done wonders for my hair.

Love this so much! Using this in conjunction with the shampoo, conditioner and leave on made my hair so soft and shiny, I kept getting compliments at work! Even just a small dollop works wonders! I've tried to use it just by itself and it left my hair feeling wonderful! The smell is amazing and it comes in such a cute pink package! Highly recommended and will definitely be purchasing again in the future. Works well by itself but works even better when you use it with the shampoo and conditioner!

Amazing soft smooth silky shiny. Loved the formula the feel everything it is simply perfection in a bottle would recommend to every woman on earth it made my hair feel fresh and new just like I grew or or had it professionally washed at a salon I loved it most relaxing self hair wash ever it’s perfect for anyone prone to dandruff or itchy scalp it helps so much my scalp wasn’t itchy once I started using it the smell of the product is amazing totally perfect for everyone please and thank you beauty crew and L’Oreal

Of the glycolic range, this is in my opinion the best product. Though I’m not really entirely sure of its point, it made my hair smooth and frizz free. I didn’t find it particularly nourishing. I have fairly straight and manageable hair but I can imagine that it would be great for someone with more frizzy, untameable hair. It didn’t really make my hair any glossier than usual though, so didn’t live up to its marketing claims. It’s an okay product, I don’t think I’d purchase it and continue to use it though.

The packaging size is smaller than I expected, I prefer a larger size. I found it very hard to squeeze out of the bottle and the bottle remained dinted after i had squeezed out the product. I'm not really convinced this did anything. My hair felt great already after the conditioner and this felt like it didn't achieve much more. It did however smell lovely and my hair was maybe a little shinier. I would not recommend this product.

I loved giving this product a try I didn’t really notice apart from the other products what its effect was as it’s one product ! But it felt nice to use and it wasn’t a hard process ! It was easy to do which is great. I already noticed an ease and great result using the shampoo and conditioner so I didn’t notice hugely what this product did in addition to those two products. I also still noticed the short term results were great but the shiny and silky feeling wore off and my hair got oily a couple of days after use. I would still say give this product a try and see how it goes for you individually as everyone’s experience may be slightly different

truthfully I was a bit skeptical about this product as I have never used any extra "in-shower" treatments other than my regular shampoo and conditioner. I made sure to give it a fair shot though - I used it as both part of the 4 step glycolic range and also with my usual hair products. it doesn't really do much when used with your regular shampoo and conditioner. this is to be expected but is a bit disappointing if you didn't want to pay $60+ for the full range. it works when paired with the glycolic shampoo and conditioner and my hair was definitely looked salon-worthy (my friends even assumed I had a haircut!) but I'm not sure I would justify paying that much money for this product. some positives though - it comes in a decent size bottle and smells amazing!

This was my first time using a product like this in the shower. I usually use an after shower product that is applied to towel dried hair before blow drying. I am used to using hair conditioning masks in the shower so the 5 minute wait time wasn't difficult for me. The product applied nicely to my hair and I brushed it through for even application. I used this after the conditioner in the same product range. My hair felt really nice and soft after rinsing it out and looked amazing when I blow dried my hair (I don't air dry as I have wavy hair). I found that while using the L'Oreal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss range my hair was shiny and bouncy and looked amazing.

I trailed this serum as part of the Glycolic Gloss care range for the past few weeks. While it looks cute and shiny and does have a really good, it did nothing for my hair in regards to to shine. It has a very heavy texture for me and it left my hair, which is naturally curly, feeling very dry and hard to style. For me the product felt too heavy. Normally the hair serums I use help make my hair feel less frizzy or dry without causing them to be greasy. But this did not have the same effect. As soon I applied any heat to my hair after using the serum, my hair looked quite greasy.

I was very excited to try this range as I'm always looking to bring some shine to my hair. I've never used a lamination product before so I was particularly eager to try this one! I would compare it to a hair mask - for use post shampoo/conditioner, and to be left in the hair for around 5 mins or so before washing out.  Like the other products in this range, it has a light and pleasant scent. I'd suggest using this two weeks or so - not a product to be used during every hair wash, but a nice product to use to give it a bit more extra shine.  This lamination is step three of the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic range - I would strongly suggest using this alongside the other three products in the range to get best results!

I have noticed a huge difference the first time using all the products as recommended. The sparkly pinky pearly texture of the solution just gives girly pop vibes! So adorably and cute! The entire ranges packaging definitely suites the solution since all the products have similar sparkly textures, except the conditioner. The packaging gives 2000’s girly vibes. It’s pretty and cute! It’s a very small product in relation to the price tag. The 4 step process is long and the lamination was the longest step! The product smelt amazing but I did not wait around for the entire 5 minutes the first time I used it but the effect was still amazing! It doesn’t have an overpowering smell but still sweet and pleasant. I noticed that my hair was incredibly soft after the entire process. I think this product did most of that work.

I’ve been using this L’Oréal range for a few weeks now and I have to say I would prefer to use the shampoo and conditioner on their own. This product leaves my hair feeling very heavy and oily. Almost like I need to wash my hair again the following day, especially if I don’t blow dry my hair and let it dry naturally. I probably wouldn’t purchase it again, however I think this product could work quite well if your hair is particularly dry or if you have a dry scalp. I have very thick hair and this product is just a bit too heavy for me.
