Works like a charm. I've been using this conditioner for a couple of years now. While I would get tempted to try different shampoos now and then,mi wouldn't change my conditioner anymore. It's a perfect solution for my fizz prone curly hair. Towel dry your hair before applying the conditioner, leave fpr few minutes and rinse. Comb and Let it air dry about 70% and then style them whatever way you like.
I decided to try this conditioner because I really like the corresponding shampoo in the Elvive range. Unfortunately, the conditioner doesn't live up to the quality of the shampoo. THE CLAIM: The argan oil and silk proteins in the conditioner will leave your hair feeling silky-smooth and frizz-free for 48 hours. It also claims to have thermo protection. THE PROS: It doesn't weigh my hair down, as long as I make sure that I don't apply the product anywhere close to my root. It washes off easily and doesn't leave a residue like a lot of conditioners. Hair looks a bit shinier when I use this conditioner. The smell is inoffensive, too. I can't attest to the thermo protection claim, but I never had a split end while using the shampoo + conditioner combo, so I'm inclined to believe it. THE CONS: It doesn't nourish or hydrate the hair as I would expect a conditioner to. My hair's softness levels remain the same whether I just shampoo or also use this conditioner after. More importantly, it doesn't help with frizz. I've noticed when I use a different shampoo (a certain sulphate-free one that did nothing for my hair) with this conditioner, my hair feels dryer and less smooth, and has more frizz. Essentially, the Anti-Frizz shampoo actually did all the work in terms of smoothing and frizz management. THE VERDICT: Whether I blow dry my hair or let it air dry, I find this conditioner doesn't exactly help with frizz or smoothness any more than the shampoo in the range does. It is a lightweight conditioner that adds shine, so it might be a good option for some people when used in conjunction with the shampoo. Personally, though, I wouldn't repurchase this.
