L’Oréal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Restoring Masque

L'Oreal produce fantastic quality products that meet all beauty and body needs at a great price.I had no hesitation in buying this hair mask after a recent beach holiday, my hair was raw, bleached and sun damaged. I really like the price and the generous pot this mask comes in. It has a thick nourishing consistency and I knew it would coat all my damaged hair and penetrate with nourishing support. The scent is fairly strong but non - irritating. I used this while in the shower and applied a little too liberally (small amount required but this was a SOS) and combed through to the ends and left for 2 minutes while doing a body scrub - Multi tasking here :) While rinsing I could feel how silky and soft my hair result was already. Once dried my hair looked so much healthier, it had shine and was so much softer and glossy to touch. I have used the mask twice a week for several weeks now and I am impressed with the change after multiple uses. I will continue to keep this mask in my must have basket of goodies.

This deep conditioning treatment is always in my cupboard.  I use it about once a week,  it works really well on my long,bleached hair leaving it soft, manageable and tangle free.  I especially like that it is so inexpensive yet does a very thorough job.  I always like to use the matching shampoo and conditioner as well.

I have very thick, curly hair that is very prone to dryness and frizz that I colour and also apply heat to for styling. This masque was not bad especially for the price. I used it once a week and I did notice an improvement in the condition of my hair. It left it feeling softer and was more manageable when styling. I have used more effective hair masques, but for the price this is good value. It is also not time consuming to use when showering only taking between 1-2 minutes left on hair. It was easily rinsed out and didn't leave a film on my hair. I would recommend this product to people looking to improve the state of dry hair. I didn't give it a 5 because I have used better products for my hair type
