MOR Botanicals Bergamot + Blackcurrant Eau De Parfum

The packaging of the MOR Botanicals Bergamot + Blackcurrant was the first thing that took my eye. The outer packaging is a soft shade of periwinkle (or maybe pale blackcurrant) and the lining of the box is a vibrant lime (the colour of Bergamot). There is a pretty picture of Bergamot, Neroli, Jasmine and Blackcurrant plants on the front of the box. The perfume bottle is simply labelled and nicely shaped. The fragrance is warm and citrusy with a hint of sweetness. I like any citrus or vanilla fragrance and I suppose this one is just more complex. I think this type of perfume would appeal to both females and males because hubby took an instant liking to it. I can do just one short spritz and the scent lasts for hours. I think what does it for me is that this perfume is not overpowering and doesn’t give me a headache. This is a lovely perfume for the cooler months.

This is one of the most beautiful scents I've tried. I had no idea what a Bergamot and Blackcurrant combination would be like and I find it hard to describe other than to say that it's a very sensual scent with woody undertones and slight floral overtones. It would suit both day and night wear, but personally I prefer to wear it at night. Although the perfume bottle itself is plain, the packaging is lovely. If you get a chance to sample this in a store please do so because it is a far more beautiful scent than the name suggests.
