Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Bronzing Skin Primer

This is a great product to wear alone in summer for a sheer golden glow when you don't feel like a full face of makeup.   It leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated and looking healthy and radiant. I have been adding to my foundation this Winter to add a subtle warmth and have had a number of compliments about how healthy and dewy my skin is looking.  I find foundation adheres to it very well and can get a good 6-7 hours worth of staying power when I use as a traditional primer.  It has a gorgeous scent and I honestly look forward to this step in my makeup routine.  Highly recommended. 

This primer is a must for my makeup bag. I apply it under foundation for a gorgeous base and healthy glow. This product is so silky and light and glides beautifully onto the face and when using it my makeup lasts and lasts really well. Napolean products are always high quality and this is no exception, its great for a bronzy sheen that is not too fake or shiny and gives me a holiday glow. Easy to use and I dont need to use a lot so at the price point it lasts really well. It feels lovely and light when applied and I always receive comments when wearing it. It gives a lovely illumination, also loving the antioxidants to protect skin, a real bonus. I would highly recommend this product and will continue to buy it

I was given the Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Bronzing Primer as a gift that unfortunately wasn’t catered towards my skin type. I have particularly oily skin and need matifying primers to keep my makeup from sliding and this product understandably didn’t help keep my foundation in place.  It would probably be well suited for normal skin types who don’t require any oil control but just want to fix their makeup to their face. It has a very light, silky consistency that applies smoothly to your face and provides a soft yet tacky base that helps blend foundation seamlessly onto the skin. I actually use this around the edges of my face (outside the t-zone) where my skin produces less oil and I found it makes my foundation lasts all day. The formula is a bronzey, glittery colour, but unfortunately the warm glow didn’t show through once foundation was applied on top. It seems that the added colour was pointless because even as it is being applied it fades away into a very slight sparkle. This product is a decent primer, but considering the idea of the product is to provide a sun-kissed glow it isn’t worth the $45 price tag. There other illuminating primers and shimmer drops around the same price range that do deliver on their marketed purposes of a highlighted glow. Although it works fine as a primer, I wouldn’t recommend it as there other products out there that can do it better.
