Hydrating lotion with SPF50!!!

I went on a trip with my gf and I happen to run out of sunscreen! She happen to have Neutrogena hydraboost water gel lotion with spf 50 and I thought I’ll give it a try given that it’s rare to find a lotion with pad 50! The texture is gel like and easy to apply, it’s cooling and soothing upon application. My skin felt instantly hydrated and it’s so reassuring to know that I’m moisturising while protecting my skin against UV!! I fell in love with this instantly and couldn’t revisiting getting one from the shops when we walked by a store!

Good sunscreen for sensitive skin.

I found this sunscreen to be the best for my sensitive and dry skin. Yes, the consistency is gel-like and feels a bit sticky on the fingers whilst applying, but it absorbs in the skin immediately and does not leave it sticky. I felt that my skin was nourished straight away and it stayed like that for a long time. I have fair skin and I need to be really diligent in applying sunscreen. Luckily, I did not get sunburned when I used this sunscreen. I would definitely buy it again since it suited my skin so well, it wasn't thick, sticky, absorbed quickly and provided sun protection.

Great texture for body but not for the face

This sunscreen comes in a 88ml tube with a plastic cap. It is easily dispensed by squeezing the tube. The product is a gel emulsion that's light blue in colour. Due to it's hydrating formula, it is quite refreshing to apply on hot days and absorbs very quickly without leaving a tacky film. It does have a bit of a fragrance that's similar to the rest of their HydroBoost range. It's a great high-protection sunscreen for the body that's super comfortable to for daily use. The instructions say that you can apply this to your face avoiding the eye area. I could feel some tingling on the sensitive areas on my face straight after application. I also found that even though I avoided my eye area, after a couple of hours I started getting a bit of stinging in the eyes. If you have sensitive skin, I would avoid using this on your face and everybody should be very careful using it any where near the eyes. I would still highly recommend this for using on the body for it's beautiful texture
