QV Hair Gentle Conditioner

I have thick and frizzy hair, and often have a dry scalp. The bottle of conditioner is easy to use the bottle sits on its flip top lid. It is quite thick when squeezed out I needed quite a bit for the amount of hair I have, I left it in for a few minutes while I washed my face and body. It rinsed out well, however my hair didn’t feel as soft and tame as it does with other conditioners, I needed to use quite a bit of leave in conditioner to brush my hair after using this I do have quite frizzy hair and believe that this would be suited to those with less frizzy or thick hair. I would recommend this to those with fine to normal hair.

This conditioner is white and has a medium thickness. It doesn't have any fragrance and wasn't suited to my thick long hair. It didn't do anything. Didn't make my hair soft, smooth, didn't reduced frizz or add any shine or hydration to my hair. I tried leaving it in my hair for longer than it recommended on the bottle but that didn't make any difference. I would not buy this again so unfortunately I cannot recommend it. It might be suitable for men as most don't have lots of length to soften. Might also be more suitable for children.

I received this conditioner to trial from Beauty Crew, I was very excited to try it as I have always enjoyed using QV products in the past as they are effective and don't irritate my sometimes sensitive skin. This gentle conditioner from QV was quite underwhelming, my hair looked dull after using it. I'm used to having nice shiny, healthy looking hair. My hair didn't feel as soft or have any sheen to it. It didn't irritate my scalp or make my dandruff any worse but I was hoping it would make my hair look healthy. I liked the fact that it is fragrance free and it is an Australia made and owned product but it wasn't enough for me to want to buy this product.

I have been trialling the QV Hair Gentle Conditioner along with the matching Shampoo. I have long fine hair and am always looking for a conditioner that is hydrating and gentle. I’ve always liked QV products and this conditioner does not disappoint. The conditioner is easy to use and dispense from the bottle, ensuring I can control the amount of product I use. It leaves my hair silky and soft, and most importantly without any irritation to my skin. The price is reasonable considering it is free from fragrance and soap as well as PH balanced. Overall I would recommend this gentle yet effective conditioner.

This conditioner really lives up to its name. Compared to other conditioners, I could truly feel how gentle it was on my hair and scalp. I have a sensitive scalp that gets irritated and itchy if the product is too strong and filled with not-so-good ingredients. GQ Hair Gentle Conditioner is free from soap and colour and right after my first use, I could feel that my scalp was dry. I used it after washing my hair with QV Hair Gentle Shampoo, applied to my hair and not my scalp, left it on for a few minutes and then rinsed it out. My hair was so soft and not tangled, easy to comb and felt nourished. I would 100% recommend it to people with sensitive skin.

The QV Gentle Conditioner is packaged in a white tube which holds 200g of product. The conditioner feels a bit greasy to the touch, somewhat like a balm, but it doesn't leave the hair feeling or looking greasy. The claims of the product are that the formula helps lock in moisture without leaving product build up and delivers a soft, manageable result. This is true and the results shine through. I've used this product even though I don't have sensitive skin but hubby has extremely sensitive skin so he has to be very careful of which products he uses. It is important to him when rinsing off any hair conditioner that it doesn't irritate his skin when it comes in contact with his body and this is certainly the case with the QV Gentle Conditioner. Using this product has helped calm down hubby's scalp and skin to a more manageable condition.
