Nourishing plant oils

This is one of those products that I didn't know I needed! It's an oil blend with sweet almond oil, apricot oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, Vitamin E in a small bottle with a brush, similar to nail polish. Despite using hand cream often, my cuticles and nail fold still peel. This oil definitely nourishes that fragile area without being greasy, and being an oil it doesn't sting any peeling skin. The brush makes it so easy to apply without getting it all over your hands. It's not greasy but I find it's better to apply at night time since that's when I don't wash my hands for many hours and the oil can sink in. The only (very minor) grips is that I wish it was in a bigger bottle for the price. Great product though.

The best cuticle oil!

My nail care routine is admittedly pretty lax and there is definitely a lot of room for improvement! I have used a cuticle oil in the past, but lost interest in maintaining the habit and didn’t ever see a huge difference from using it. On paper, I am the perfect candidate for a cuticle oil. The skin around my nails is so dry and I have a terrible anxious habit of picking at it, so keeping that area hydrating is super important. This cuticle oil has made all the difference! It’s a thicker oil, but still feels like it penetrates the skin quickly and easily. It’s SO much better than anything else I’ve used, and I’ve seen a real difference in my skin and nails since incorporating this in my routine!

Lifesaver for my nails

Revitanail has always been one of the main brands I turn to for nail care, and I had used the older nail oil to protect and moisturize my nails and cuticles for some time. Even better to have the updated version, with a less chemical smell and more natural products. The new version contains sweet almond, jojoba and apricot oils, calendula and vitamins A and E to protect the health of your nails and cuticles. When Beauty Crew kindly sent me Revitanail to review it couldn’t have come at a better time – as a constant nail polish user who also removes nail polish regularly rather than leave it chipped, my nails were in something of a state! Brittle, splitting horizontally and just looking generally unhealthy, the time was right to leave off the nail polish and give my cuticles some good treatment. So I have been doing exactly that with my Revitanail, and my nails have been looking less dry and ridged, not splitting or feeling brittle. I think this is a treatment that has even more benefits if used regularly rather than once in a while. It has definitely made a difference and is something to keep using, so happy it came at this time!

Leaves nails looking healthy and feeling strong

I love this nail oil. I have never used one before and always wondered if they actually worked and worth using. Due to a health condition my nails have been breaking, splitting and very thin. I wish I had taken before and after photos. My nails are still not exactly how I want then but they are still continuing to improve since I started the oil a few weeks ago. They are definitely getting stronger although I’m hoping that will continue to improve. They are getting to a good length now and not breaking yet. My nail appearance has even improved. It’s very hydrating. Doesn’t have a scent and a little goes a long way. I will definitely continue to use this on my nails they look so much healthier now and I’m not embarrassed to show them. This is a fantastic oil that really works. I’d definitely recommend trying it if you haven’t.

Didn't work for me ):

I really wanted to like this. I was so excited when this product came in the mail because my nails and cuticles have been in such poor condition since I got my acrylics off a month ago. My nails were thin and brittle and my cuticles were peeling. I've been applying this every day for the past few weeks and although it feels like a nice step in my self-care routine, I can't say I've noticed much of a change in the quality of my nails. I'm sad to say they're still quite brittle. Other than that the product was easy to apply and had a nice finish. It didn't feel greasy at all and was easily absorbed into my cuticles. Not a bad product but didn't do any wonders for me.

Good oil

Good natural based formula. I have a good healthy nails. Did use this after receiving for about a month. I like the ritual of caring for hands, as I massage in the oil over the whole fingers as applying to the cuticles. My hands were softening, especially the rough pronounced knuckles. This Revitanail Nourishing Oil haa added vitamin A and vitamin E. Good for skin. I do not feel the scent and it is very lightweight oil. Absorbs easy. It is also easy to apply with the brush. I just would not repurhase as it is hard for me to use hand products, as I have no habit of caring for hands (nails including).

Miracle oil

A big thank you Beauty Crew and Revitanail for allowing me to trial the Revitanail Nourishing Oil Treatment. This product could not have landed on my doorstep at a better time. My nails were in dreadful condition. The skin around the cuticles was peeling, painful and inflamed. The nails themselves felt paper thin. They were so soft they were hard to cut. They chipped at the slightest pressure. And I was regularly suffering from nails that flicked backwards off the beds. My nails were going to pose a challenge for any product. I might add, that this was not from applying nail polish or any other product to my nails, as I don’t. The oil is packaged in an attractive mauve and black box which looks sophisticated. Inside is a simple 14 ml bottle and brush. The instructions on the box are easy to follow – gently massage into cuticles and nails for approximately one minute. The ingredients sound natural and very nourishing. They include sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil, olive fruit oil, jojoba seed oil and calendula flower extract. In fact more than 90% of the ingredients are natural. The product is a yellow oily liquid which can easily be brushed onto the nails. It is scent free. You do need to leave some time to apply this, as massaging each nail for one minute adds up to … ten minutes for the average person. Twenty if you include your toes. But it’s well worth it! If you do it while watching TV, it will add some luxury “me” time to your day. As for the result, it was magic! I have used this oil twice on my nails with a week between uses. The day after the first application I could see the difference. The skin around my nails felt less inflamed and the nails themselves felt more solid. Since the second application, most problems with my nails have disappeared. The skin around my nails has healed and the nails are no longer chipping. Now, I will just apply it every so often for maintenance, but I still can’t believe how miraculously this product worked. Would I repurchase it? In a heartbeat. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Anyone who needs a bit of magic in their lives (and in their nails) would benefit from this.

Hydrating and good cuticle oil

The Revitanail Nourishing Oil is a great cuticle oil containing vitamin A and vitamin E. It is very easy to use and isn’t overly oily and doesn’t have a tint to it, and it keeps your cuticles nice and hydrated and in great shape. I have been using this regularly for the past few weeks and I do think my cuticles are in better and less rough shape. It says sweet almond on the bottle, however, I don’t believe there is a scent to it (or at least I can’t smell one). I would recommend this product to anyone wanting healthier looking and feeling nails. I will continue using this product whenever I feel like my nails and cuticles need some TLC.

Easy to use

I always like to take good care of my nails and cuticles. This nourishing oil is quite easy to use. The light texture of the product made it easy to be brushed on my nails, while it does not give an over-oily feeling at all and it does not have a colour. That means it would not smudge (like nail polish does) so I can do my other things quickly after applying it. I do feel my nails are better hydrated after using the product a few times in the past month. It is nice to have healthy looking nails and cuticles. I will continue using it in future.

Great cuticle oil

If you want to keep your nails and cuticles hydrated I would suggest using this nourishing oil from revitanail. I like to take good care of my nails and one of the things that I like to do besides cutting my own cuticles is using this hydrating oil. The brush is similar to a nail polish brush and I just swipe it onto my nail and a bit on my cuticles for each finger and then rub it in. It keeps the skin so hydrated and soft so your hands look and feel great. You don't need to use too much of the oil because it's only a very small area. Its got sweet almond oil as well as jojoba oil to keep your cuticles in tip top shape!

Revitanail Nourishing Oil

My Mum has had a long obsession with the Revitanail range and is something I’m glad she passed down to me. I have been obsessed with the Revitanail Nourishing Oil for such a long time. I always include this when I manicure my fingernails myself at home but my favourite way to use this is after showering at night and before bed I will sit and apply a generous amount of the oil to each cuticle and gently massage it in finger by finger. I wake up each morning with the softest most nourished cuticles which is thanks to blend of oils, herbal extracts and multivitamins.
