Rodan + Fields REDEFINE Intensive Renewing Serum

The renewing serum is measured out and packed individually into capsules. You need to twist-off the tips to get the serum which is great for a vitamin A serum because its an active that can lose its potency if exposed to air. The serum is a gel like consistency that absorbs quickly after application. I wait about an hour or so before applying my moisturiser because you need to give vitamin A time to absorb into the skin. I haven't experienced any sensitivity or irritation with this serum given that Vitamin A is a potent skin active. Its wise to only apply this at night and wash it off in the morning because Vitamin A is not stable in sunlight. With consistent use the fine lines I had is smoothing out. It also makes my skin look even and plump. I really enjoy this serum and also have R + F lip serum with peptides.

I received a sample of this serum to try, and while it was only one ampoule, I immediately noticed that my skin felt incredibly smooth after using the serum. One ampoule was sufficient to cover my face and neck. The serum is gel like which is great. I find that with liquid serums, they tend to run down my fingers when I try to apply, leading to wastage. So this serum doesn't have any wastage. As I only had a sample and couldn't trial this product long term, I don't feel I can give 5 stars. But what little I did try was fantastic!
