Beautiful hair equals a complete and beautiful look, and having the right products to achieve that perfect look makes it all so much easier. An arsenal of the correct shampoos, conditioners, masks, treatments and styling products and tools means a good hair day to start and complete your beauty look is within your wildest dreams. I experiment with my hair a lot, almost as much as my makeup, and I have tried pretty much everything there is from shampoo to conditioner to masks to leave in treatments, styling protection product for my heated tools and a rainbow of different home hair dye kits, I thought I had seen it all but how wrong I was.  A volumising powder in the form of a travel makeup brush is my latest discovery, from the wonderful Japanese brand that is Shu Uemera proved that I was a long way off from discovering all there was in the world of hair care. I was blessed with, or perhaps cursed, fine, wispy, fly away hair that I need to wash everyday sometimes to keep it clean and full looking, or else it goes into lank, limp and flat territory and is a nightmare to deal with, let alone style. I've tried many different volumising and thickening shampoos, conditioners, masks and leave in styling treatments, but they all leave my hair feeling even limper, heavy and greasy and stiff and sticky, not like the full, flowing and voluminous tresses seen on models in magazines, that these products promised me. I was at a bit of a loss, until I discovered this Shu Uemera Art of Hair Volume Maker Brush, and suddenly my full and thick hair prayers were answered. I double shampooed and conditioned with a volumising formula, then when my hair was fully air dried, I dispensed some of this powder onto the roots of my hair, buffing it in and it felt very much as if I was applying makeup to my hair, bit of an odd feeling, but it was very quick and easy, and in no time at all my hair had thickened and gone all full and voluminous and so thick, in just minutes of applying the powder. I was stunned and pleased, none of the other volumising products I had used in the past had worked so quickly or easily, and the results lasted all day long, in fact, until my very next hair wash. Several more uses had me completely hooked. It was so quick, so easy, completely invisible on my dark roots, and I can apply as much as I want as often as I like during the day and my hair never goes limp, sticky or greasy looking. I've been using it most days now for a couple of months and there is still so much product left in the brush, it's fabulous on up do's as well as loose flowing locks, and the small brush fits easily into my handbag for touch ups on the go. The price tag of $47 is worth it for everything it does and how little you actually need, even if you re apply it numerous times during the day. Shu Uemera has fulfilled my full hair dreams in every way possible, and it will work for any other girl out there, no matter what your hair is like or what colour it is, as the formula is invisible even on the darkest hair. If you want full, thick, voluminous hair too, it is all in a quick buff of a magic little brush.
This is my "desk to date" hair saviour. I have fine and thin hair that is often quite limp by the end of the day. Spending 30 seconds brushing this wonder into my roots transforms my hair. The brush ensures a light and even distribution, which is important because you only need such a small amount to get the desired effect (and too much product is not a good thing). If you buff it into your roots, it's invisible even on my dark brown hair. It lifts your roots and gives a fabulous amount of texture to help make styling a breeze. If my blow dry is just not making the grade in the morning, I brush a little into my clean roots and it usually saves the day. It's not cheap, but I've been using mine for well over a year and it shows no signs of running low, so I think it's good value in the long run.
