Skinstitut Even Blend Serum is a brightening serum to target pigmentation and improve radiance of all skin types, especially pigmented and acne-prone. Exfoliates and refines skin to prompt fading of pigmentation, age spots and uneven skin tone. Glycolic Acid performs a chemical exfoliation to prompt epidermal shedding and boost cellular renewal, improving skin smoothness, tone and radiance. To complement, Wakamine (Japanese Seaweed) helps to decongest and fade post-breakout markings, making it ideal for acne-prone skin. Morning and night, apply a pea-sized amount to freshly cleansed skin, targeting areas of unwanted pigmentation and carefully avoiding the eye area. Didn’t do anything for my skin

I used this serum as part of my skincare routine using all Skinstitut products. While there is a number of other Skinstitut products that I do like, this one did nothing for my skin that I noticed. The product comes in a small tube and the product itself is a thin orange liquid. I found that it was best not to have the tube standing upright as I found the serum would flow way too fast out of the tube. I lost some product this way. The product itself has a nice mild scent. I did not notice any particular difference to my skin using this product

Other serums may work better!

I was recommended this one to help try and even out pigmentation as part of a skin care routine while also using other Skinstitut products. Although I found that it didn't reduce any of the pigmentation I currently I had. I do feel it is a good way to protect any further pigmentation from appearing. With all these types of serums, you will need to wear sunscreen everyday as I did notice my skin becoming more sensitive to sun exposure. It is not that I didn't like this product, it is just that I found that it did not really do anything for my skin. It has a nice consistency and easily absorbs into the skin. The serum also did not have a strong scent to it. I do like the other products in the Skinstitut range better than this one.
