Synergie Skin Dermiotic

To me this product is akin to an essence, it has the consistency of water and is applied after cleansing before any other serums or moisturiser. It doesn't contain alcohol or any acids and doesn't irritate my skin at all. It comes in a dark tinted dropper bottle and all I need is 3 drops for my face. I find it absorbs really quickly and I also really like that I have no problems layering any other skincare products over it. I like how this calms my skin if I have exfoliated it with a strong product, and it reduces redness too. Their are both prebiotics and probiotics in this product. This is a great boost to my skincare regime, and although it is expensive I think the bottle will last a long time.

Synergie Skin Dermiotic is formulated with both prebiotics and probiotics to help balance the skins microbiome to sooth irritation and redness, while building a barrier to protect the skin from further damage. I replaced my usual essence with this product and noticed a great improvement in the clarity of my skin. This elixir is very watery and has a earthy botanical fragrance that is quite strong, but refreshing, and it dissipates quickly as it absorbs into the skin. I found it has a sticky feel when applying but absorbed quickly, leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth without any tacky residue. It layers well with other products, and I didn't experience any irritation at all. I really believe this elixir improved the absorption of my serum and aided in its effectiveness. I haven't had a breakout since using this product and I will definitely be continuing to use it as a part of my daily skincare routine.

I have been using Synergie Skins Dermiotic each morning, I have introduced this into my skincare routine by applying 3-4 drops via pipette to my fingertips and gently pressing it into my skin after cleansing and before my serum application. The dermiotic has a slightly sweet mild scent, it absorbs almost instantly into my skin leaving no greasy residue. The dermiotic is a pre serum elixir that from naturally derived ingredients and enriched with probiotics and prebiotics that balances the skins microbiome targeting the appearance of stress, redness and irritation. Since using this serum especially in the colder months I have really noticed how calm, soft and hydrated my skin has been prior I had been dealing with some flaky skin and can honestly say this is the moist healthy and stable my skin has been and stayed for in a long time. I can’t wait to see what using this over a prolonged period of time results in for my skin. I will continue use and would purchase it again, i recommend this product to everyone as it is also for all skin types.

If you're wondering what Synergie Skin means by 'pre-serum', this product is a water-based essence housed in a 30ml dropper bottle. It is very watery, less thick than most serums and is almost like a hydrating Korean toner. The product is meant to prepare the skin for the next serum steps, and is suitable to be used between cleansing and serums. I use this in place of a hydrating toner. The formula has Ian excellent mix of ingredients to promote skin barrier health and hydration and sooth irritation. It includes niacinamide, glycerin, antioxidants, prebiotics, probiotics, a ferment and sodium hyaluronate. I am not new to these ingredients (I'm reminded of NIOD Survival 0, Benton Fermentation Essence), but I can't think of another product that has this particular combination in one bottle. The watery texture absorbs quickly. It is fragrance-free, but does have a particular smell that is not exactly pleasant but it's ok. I find that it's soothing on the days that my skin is feeling slightly irritated. I use this whenever my skin feels like it might be slightly irritated or may become slightly irritated, like in preparation for any PM acid serums. It's also great before retinol. Since the texture is like a hydrating toner, I found the bottle very small and doesn't go very far, even if I only dispense a few drops. But it is a nice combination of ingredients nonetheless and would be great for sensitive skin.

I really liked this elixir. This was recommended to me as I have sensitive skin. I got no irritation from the product. It’s easy to use, I only need a few drops and pat them on my face. The product sinks straight in with no greasy oily feeling. It is light and comfortable to wear and leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth. I use it morning and night for best results and follow with my usual serum and moisturiser. It has really helped with redness in my skin especially around my nose which can become red. I love that it has brightened my skin. It looks a lot less dull and not as tired, it also looks and feels plumper and it has helped with fine lines it is a bit expensive but it lasts well. Synergie Skin Dermiotic comes in a black box. The bottle itself is a frosted black/brown colour which is slightly see through. The bottle itself is 30ml. To use this I cleansed my skin and then I applied 3 drops of the elixir to my fingertips and patted that all over my face and neck. Within seconds my skin had sucked it straight up. It literally disappeared in a flash. Not sure if I got the product everywhere because it dries too fast. And once it's on your can't see it or feel where it is. The consistency is like water. I find that when I apply it 3 drops to my fingertips and pat that on my face it's gone instantly to wherever I pat it first. 3-4 drops is not enough for my entire face and neck as it dries so fast. There is no smoothing it over the face like a moisturiser. It doesn't move. Where you place it is where it stays. I think this product would be better if it was a bit thicker or a creamier consistency. I'm not even sure that my entire face got covered in the product because by the time you've put 3-4 drops on your fingertips and move your hand to your face it's already almost gone. I've had to use 3 drops per section of my face. Which to me is such a waste as the product is expensive. It's clear in colour and smells exactly (to me) like ear drops. You know that vinegary smell ear drops have?! There was no sticky or tacky residue left. No shininess to my skin and I had no irritation from it. My skin did feel soft to touch. I left it for a few minutes as per the instructions before I went and applied the remainder of my skin care routine.  When I applied this for the first time it was at night so I followed my night time skincare routine afterwards and all of my other products acted and felt like they normally would. It fitted right in. The next morning I cleansed my skin and applied the Dermiotic elixir. My skin once again sucked it right up and felt soft and smooth. I left it for a few minutes and then I applied the remainder of my morning skincare. Once again every product applied as per usual and I had no irritation or differences. Despite not liking the consistency and how hard it is to apply I like the way it's made my skin feel. It feels supple, plump, soft and my skin tone and texture looks more even. My skin looks really happy so it must be working because my skin sure did not look like this before. I've also noticed a reduction in irritation and redness that I get. And my skin is less itchy. My skin feels more firmer and so much more hydrated. I love how my skin looks and feels. I would purchase this myself if the consistency was different and it was easier to apply like a serum. Tips:  Avoid rubbing the product in your hands as it will disappear. Pat it on your face but work fast as it dries in a flash. Recommended for: Skin prone to irritation and redness.
