Trilogy Rosapene Radiance Serum™

This power packed Rosapene serum with sea algae and aloe is amazing. The frosted glass brown bottle protects the nutrients in this serum from the damaging effects of the sun. I find the pump bottle a little hard to use, and it does release too much product at times. With this aside, the serum is flawless. It has a gorgeous botanical smell, and a light white serum that spreads beautifully over the skin and absorbs very quickly. My face and decolletage feel firm and hydrated after using and is perfect in the morning before I apply my makeup. For a serum the price is very affordable and a little goes a long way. Trilogy offers an incredible range of organic natural Australian beauty products that are affordable, elegantly packaged, and very good for your skin. 

This is a light serum that is perfect to wear everyday. It dispenses easily through the pump and I use 1-2 drops for my décolletage and neck and face. It spreads easily and immediately my skin feels soft and smooth. I use this serum after my shower and my skin looks calm and feels good to touch. This serum doesn't really have a scent except it is slightly herbal, but it's very mild. It feels light on my face and is perfect to have as a base for my moisturiser and make up. It's excellent for a daily use serum for any age user.

This is another of the Trilogy Rosapene products, with trademark rosehip oil and cranberry combination. It has the distinctive sweet rosehip scent that I love but in this case a little overshadowed by other ingredients –sea algae and aloe – giving it a strong smell that doesn’t really appeal to me, but is not unpleasant. It is a light milky fluid that absorbs quite well but that I found rather sticky for a while after. My skin does feel soft and plump afterwards, but having dry skin, I definitely need to follow with a good moisturiser afterwards to feel really hydrated. I noticed it said on the Trilogy website, but not on the package, that this serum is recommended  for oily skin so I probably wouldn’t have purchased if I had seen that first. Like most Trilogy skincare it is packaged in a solid glass bottle, which gives it a nice luxe feel, whilst being good for the environment. As always, it is also cruelty-free, made ethically and certified natural – nice to see that so many products are aiming for this now. It is quite reasonably priced for a Trilogy product which also makes me happy. However, I would recommend this serum for someone with younger , more oily skin, and will take Trilogy’s  advice and use this over a face oil, before following with moisturiser. Radiance serum does the job but I probably wouldn’t repurchase for myself.  

This is a lightweight serum that instantly adds hydration to my dry, dehydrated skin without feeling heavy or sticky. It has a milky texture that gets absorbed quickly and creates smooth base for my moisturiser and makeup. I often use it on it's own as I don't need to wear additional moisturiser on top, especially in warmer weather. The serum comes in a dark glass bottle with a pump dispenser and one good pump is enough for my skin. I find that my skin feels soft when I use this serum, plus it adds a bit of healthy glow. It has a floral, herbal scent which isn't too strong but is quiet calming and doesn't irritate my skin. I think this is a great addition to my skincare regime as it contains a good mix of antioxidants, essential oils and rosehip oil, without the nasty chemicals or silicone and dimethicone which often block my pores. The price is reasonable for a serum and the 30ml bottle lasts for months, so I will be repurchasing this product. I think this serum would suit all skin types as it's not greasy and absorbs really well. My tip is to add more rosehip oil if you need extra nourishment and moisture.
