One of the Best

Urban Decay is well known for producing some of the best eyeshadows around, but they are quite expensive so I haven’t owned many of them. The one I have at the moment is Mildew. Sounds awful, but is actually a lovely natural olive green shade that has a slight gold undertone that brightens the eye area and stops the green looking too dark. Green doesn’t seem to be all that popular as a cosmetic shade at the moment but it has always been a favourite of mine. The shadow is very pigmented, has a soft texture, applies and blends easily and resists fading even after a few hours or after sweating on a hot day . There is nothing at all powdery about these shadows, no fall out or disappearing after 2 hours. The packaging, with it's stamped decoration, is very luxe. There are a great range of shades so I think these shadows would suit most people. The only con – and it’s a major one – is the cost. $33 for a SINGLE shade is very expensive, which is why I find one of the palettes a much better use of my money.
I bought the colour Snakebite in this range by Urban Decay to fill a gap in my eye shadow tray. I didn't think twice heading to the Urban Decay range yet again, the price reflects the quality and the colour payoff. The container is a lovely little bronze and silver pot with a nice secure pop up lid. Its small tactile and the lid is clear allowing you to see the shade inside. Snake bite is a delicious golden bronze which is just perfect to give definition to my brown eyes. There is such a luxurious feel to the Urban Decay shadows, so buttery, deep rich colour and so blendable. A little goes such a long way so I don't flinch at the price as I know exactly what I'm getting - Quality!
I have the eyeshadow ‘Sin’ from urban decay which is a beautiful frosted pink with silver undertones. This shade is featured in the original naked palette. I very rarely buy single eyeshadows and usually opt for palettes instead because they are better value, but I just couldn’t stay away from this shade.  It’s a lovely feminine pink that is great for all over the lid to create a natural glam look. It’s really pigmented and I’ve experienced very little fall out with this colour. If you want to amp it up some more, you can also wet your brush with setting spray before dipping into the eyeshadow to give a more foiled intense look. If other urban decay eyeshadows perform as well as this one id definitely consider buying some more.
