Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Treatment Mask

One of the best natural hydrating masks that doesn't leave my skin feeling over oily, but instead it feels more flexible with noticeable plumpness. This is a lovely rich thick hydrating masque. The Burt's bees hydration masque comes in a decent size tube which allows for easy application. This masque applies quite thick and is a creamy white thick lotion which you only need a small amount- you only get small amounts when squeezing out so its perfect to layer and you never use excess. I found this masque really very thick and creamy, it felt soft and smooth on application and the lovely thing is that soaks in especially to those extra dry areas and the bits your skin wants a bit of hydration. The masque was smooth and silky and after use my skin was left very smooth and silky. Fine lines were diminished and smoothed out. Long term use of this product I didn't notice any difference in pigmentation or dark marks but skin was softer and smoother. While I have combination skin I enjoyed using this product for a boost to my hydration levels, especially in winter, I only use this product once every fortnight however. The smell of this masque I found a bit off putting to be honest. It's an interesting herbal smell but I didn't like it- I still used the masque however but I wish the smell was a bit better. Overall a smooth masque that applied lovely to my skin and left it soft and smooth. It seemed to boost my hydration dramatically and fine lines are smoother. Recommended for dry, and prematurely aged skins, avoid if you have acne prone skin, this masque has the ability to clog pores. Really enjoyed this masque!!!

Though I never thought that Burt's Bees would be a big player in skin care I must admit this product is a god sent for anyone who has dry flaky skin, and for me, gets better results with less skin irritation than other (much) more expensive brands. The product has a great smell and a nice thick texture, I could almost feel my pores and skin soaking in and absorbing this product. I found that too much of the product was really unnecessary as its so thick and can get a little messy, I used a small blob about half the size of a walnut and even that was quite a lot. After using the product my skin was left with a smooth velvety feel which I just love. If they added something to this product to brighten your skin it would be the only mask I would use.

This is a new favourite for me. I received it surprisingly in my Priceline GWP baggy a little while ago. The absolute first thing I should mention, because it's the first awesome thing I noticed about it is the SCENT! OH my word. It smells like maraschino cherries. This is a huge, huge plus for me. There are not nearly enough products out there today with this gorgeous scent. It is *beaaaautiful*! The scent isn't that strong however and don't worry it won't last too long! The product itself comes in a simple flip top tube, no fuss at all and easy product control. I have tried using this product in a few different ways to figure out what best works for me. Initially I was applying the product quite heavily, leaving it on for around 30 minutes (mostly due to laziness I won't lie!) In doing this the mask did end up getting flaky and kind of getting all over my shirt so I wouldn't recommend my lazy method unless you plan on washing it off relatively quickly. It took a while to wash off as it had that 'endless conditioner' feeling of being slick no matter how much water I threw at it. But eventually my face was free and felt beautiful. Soft, supple, clean and mostly CALM. I get a lot of redness for general irritation and this helped. Next I tried applying a lot less - more along the lines of a thin layer over my face. I waited around 10 minutes and then massaged the mask in (like a facial cream) and did NOT wash the rest off, since I had rubbed it in to practically nothing - no white left on my face. I think this method serves to give you deeper results as the product can go to work for much longer and really sink in. But all the same it left me with soft and calm skin, except this time I didn't need to moisturise - bonus! I would recommend anyone who suffers from incurably dry skin to give this a go. It really does help. The formula of the mask is so darn thick and it really goes deep into the skin. When using the second method mentioned, it will last you aaaaages, trust me. This is currently my all time favourite face mask :)

Burts Bees Intense Hydration Treatment mask really does an amazing job! If you suffer from dry skin that is easily irratated I highly recommend this for you.  I have never come across a product so thick and rich that it feels like it will do a good job just from the touch off it. It has a present fragrance to it and not too overpowering you want to remove it immendiately. It does not set hard like most masks (I would say due to its extreme hydration content). I really love the fact that you don't have to wash this product off either. So a great mask to finish up the day with before bed. You use a cloth and massage the left over residue into your skin. So not only does it get a burst of hydration from the mask it stays on and works it's magic too!  I love this product and I will continue to use it in my weekly resceme. Perfect moisturiser for the unpredictable combination type skin! The price is right to keep it up regularly.
