Dermalogica Overnight Retinol Repair

Retinol and Vitamin C serums have been the hype in the beauty space so I bought the Overnight Retinol Repair to see if it works and worth the high price point. when I first used this serum, my skin got a bit redness which goes down after 10 minutes. After using for a week my skin got used to the ingredients in the serum and didn't get redness anymore. The results were very visible where my skin was plumped, hydrated with radiance. Highly recommend.

Visible results almost immediately! I started using this serum twice a week and have ditched all other retinols I was using previously. In the morning when you wake, your skin appears tighter and younger. If used too often I found I had a little sensitivity to the sun but if used as directed this is a wonderful product for skin rejuvenation! Highly recommend it.

Dermalogica is a name that anyone into beauty knows..it's high quality products that work beautifully,are used in some of the best salons around AND actually work are a staple for many of us.Now that company adds this gem into the mix...and it is a must have. Now,i am actually a longtime lover of Retinol (the prescription kind,not the "fluff" reserved for widely available skincare products),but sometimes,i just want a slightly milder version...and this delivers nicely. This powerful treatment cream accelerates skin renewal (the entire purpose of Vit A) and reduces the appearance of skin aging / acne scars / uneven skintone etc over time .The Retinol helps increase collagen production ( Hello firmer skin) and cell turnover (revealing the gorgeous new skin underneath) whilst the other skincare powerhouse ( Vitamin C) helps to  fight signs of aging including uneven skin tone and discoloration (it is the most powerful antioxidant,therefore it helps skin dullness and dryness). Use this with the buffer cream included (after which,you can use any really high quality moisturiser you have to combine the repair cream with) at night (maybe start with every other night until you build up a tolerance) and then watch good skin happen (NOTE:Retinol is a powerful ingredient... skin may feel a bit dry,flaky,itchy and tight,plus look a little "pinker" than usual.... read up on the effects of retinol and you will see that these reactions are perfectly normal...proving that this product  works). This is an exxy addition to your skincare repertoire,however...it is a product that (unlike many you may use currently) ACTUALLY GIVES RESULTS THAT ARE VISIBLE  (and is quite economical when you realise that this lasts for a while...you need only a few drops of this gel-cream added to your nightcare cream...and that's with two of us using this). An absolute must have for skin you never thought possible (without a trip to the Dr for a script to achieve). TIP:Sunscreen,sunscreen,sunscreen....slather the stuff on,lest you get the burn of a lifetime (Vit A leaves your skin sun sensitive like nothing else) AND NEVER,NEVER even think of using this if you either are OR thinking you may be pregnant (Vit A + baby = DISASTER)
