Kiehl’s Sunflower Colour Preserving Deep Recovery Pak

The Kiehl’s Sunflower Colour Preserving Deep Recovery Pak is hair mask that comes in a white tub with a twist off lid. The hair mask itself is a thick consistency and white in colour. It smells delicious and fruity. To apply I shampoo my hair first and then I towel dry my hair to remove all of the excess water and then I apply the mask to my mid-lengths and ends. I can feel it working instantly because it makes my hair so soft as soon as it hits my hair. I like to leave the mask on my hair for 5 minutes before rinsing it thoroughly. Once rinsed and I've towel dried and combed my hair my hair feels silky, soft and is frizz free. It doesn't feel oily or weighed down at all. I like to use this mask once a week to maintain the amount of hydration in my hair and to keep it feeling the way it does when I use this mask. Styling my hair is much easier when using this mask also. The mask contains sunflower oil which contains beneficial amounts of Phospholipids as well as high concentrations of Ceramides. This strengthens and protects the hair. It also contains Apricot kernel oil which has a very high Vitamin E content (aiding fast absorption) and is a trygliceride composed of 75% oleic acid and 20% linoleic acid, and unsaturated fatty acids esterified with glycerin - similar to avocado oil and sesame oil. This ingredient moisturises, protects and softens the hair. Other ingredients are Vitamin B3, B5, and B6, and a UV-protective filter which protects the hair and also your hair colour. It's Silicone free and Paraben free. I recommend this mask to anyone with dry or damaged coloured hair.
