This Elvive Extraordinary Hair Oil will give you everything that you want from a hair oil. Containing 6 flower oils means the scent that it's going to leave in your hair is just divine.  It hydrates and softens your hair all without weighing down or leaving your hair feeling oily. I use this oil daily and find that 2 pumps is perfect for my long hair.  You can use it on dry or wet hair and is awesome for after swimming at either the beach or in a pool.  Just rinse your hair and apply the oil to the lengths and you are good to go. It comes in a very sturdy 100ml glass bottle with a pump. Transforms your hair to lightweight, super glossy and healthy tresses.
Even though the product itself is pretty amazing... my favorite part still is the fragrance. It smell like heaven. I just fell in love with it the moment I opened the bottle. I've been using this product for about a couple of months now. Even though it's an oil, it doesn't feel even a lil bit greasy. Gets absorbed quickly and leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny. I was mesmerized from the very first application. Although felt little disappointed later to discover the fragrance and effect gone in less than 24 hours. Having said that, the regular usage has made a big difference for my hair texture. They are softer, bouncier and visibly healthier.
It is hard to believe that what was straight in the past now became wavy, curly and quite frizzy. I am talking about my hair. I do not know whether it is Australian climate but my hair has changed completely and now is wavy to curly. To manage my mane I had to double the amount of the products I used to use. The hair oil is a must to turn the frizzy mess into some decent looking hair. I must say I enjoy the L'oreal hair oil. I like the packaging, it is glass and feels more luxurious than a simple plastic bottle. It has a pump so it is extra easy to distribute the product and the right amount of it. The scent is very pleasant but it does not linger for too long which is great as it does not interfere with the perfume I decide to wear. What that oil does is it adds a beautiful shine to the hair, it fights the frizz to some extent and it accentuates the waves/curls. I use it on the wet hair after washing and then onto my dry hair whenever I style it. What I like about this hair oil is the fact that it does not weigh the hair down, it is not heavy at all. I am quite aware of the fact that most of the "oil" is the silicones but I reckon my hair likes it. Worth trying.
Best hair oil which can be found at the drugstore! It can be used on wet or dry hair, and only a small pump is required per use. It is not too expensive, and the bottle lasts forever! It can also be used as a hair mask, which can be applied to the hair before washing, for around 10 minutes. This product helped with with my split ends and dry tips! Also smells good :)
I love a good hair oil, especially one that smells as good as this! I smell flowers and chocolate whenever I work this through my hair. I use this on damp or dry hair, through the mids to the ends, to add moisture and reduce frizz. This oil makes my hair looks so sleek and shiny. Start with a little. You can always add more and too much looks like a greasy mess. My only con would be the packaging - while the glass bottle looks luxurious, it is rather heavy and I was afraid I had broken it a few times.
I'm not usually a fan of hair oil as I thought they would make your hair look greasy/oily like that dirty unwashed look. However my hair has been really dry lately so I thought I would give it a go. I chose L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Hair Oil because the bottle looked so pretty. The bottle is made of glass and is a rich amber colour that draws the eye and looks really luxe. It comes in a 100ml bottle with a pump for easy dispensing of the oil. The oil has a really pleasant scent that's not overpowering and is a lightweight oil that doesn't feel greasy if you don't use too much. The oil contains 6 different flower extracts - Lotus, Camomile, Tiare, Matricaria, Rose and Flax which really help to provide nourishment and softness to your hair. There are a number of different ways you can use this oil on wet or dry hair. Apply it to your hair before shampooing as a hair mask, apply it before styling to protect it from heat damage, as a detangler for wet hair, or on dry hair to bring out the shine and make it smooth. I like to use it as a hair mask and apply it to my hair 30 minutes before a shampoo and let the nutrients soak into my hair. I can really feel the difference after using it. My hair feels silky soft and smooth and is easier to manage and style. I also use it In between shampoo days to give my hair that extra shine and softness. I found that it absorbs easily into my hair and doesn't leave any oily residue. My tip is to pump the oil into your hand, rub it between your palms and then smooth it evenly onto your hair, avoiding your scalp (because no one wants a greasy scalp) and concentrating on your dry ends. Also avoid using to much as less is more. Overall I noticed a huge improvement in my hair after using it. Before it was dry and straw like but after using it for a few weeks, my hair has really soften and become much more smooth and silky and healthier. Each bottle has lasted a long time as you only need a few drops to coat your entire hair. I would recommend this product to anyone who has dry hair or wants gorgeous looking hair.
I remember when this range only consisted of this oil. I coveted it for a few months before finally buying it for myself as a birthday present a few years ago. It was true love from day one. I have fine hair which is dry at the ends but needs washing every single day or it just looks horrible. Getting that balance is crucial for me and it like this product was made for my hair especially. It has the most gorgeous floral scent which just whisks you away. You only need the smallest drip of oil to coat a good amount of hair. I find that it absorbs almost immediately and you can see the difference in the quality and texture of your locks. I couldn't speak highly enough of this product - fan for life.
I bought this because my hair was really frizzy and this really help in the winter especially with all the static and the dry air.
I bought this oil as I like the idea of a nourishing hair oil that would smell great and help keep my hair in good condition. It comes in an exquisite heavy glass bottle and you simply pump the oil out and disperse it onto your hands and apply to your hair. I suggest using 1 pump the first time and see how your hair feels after application. The oil is a bit heavy, so for me, 1 pump is more than enough to stop flyaways and to keep my hair shiny and easy to style. The scent is perfume inspired, but not over the top, and it gradually fades away. You can also apply a few drops before you go to bed and massage it thoroughly thru your hair and then use it as an overnight strengthening hair mask. Just remember to use an old pillow case to sleep on since this is an oil. I generally use this oil after I have washed my hair and after I've towel dried it, I apply 1 drop and then style as I like, including blow dry. My hair is left feeling soft, easy to manage and has a beautiful shine and gloss to it. It looks healthier too. I recommend this hair oil for anyone who wants a rich nourishing hair oil to gently tame any unruly hair and keep hair looking glossy and sleek.
I like this product not only for it's moisturising properties but also for it's beautiful smell, it almost feels like you've perfumed your hair! The bottled product first caught my eye as the packaging is quite pretty & luxurious (I think of it as the 'stained glass look'), the pump structure is quite easy to use and the texture of the product is quite thick and rich so a little goes a long way.  I use this oil as a leave-in conditioner mostly on the mid-to-end lengths of my hair after washing it and I first warm the product on the palms of my hands to make it easier to apply evenly. My hair seems to absorb the oil as it dries and feels silky & smooth for the rest of the day, it also adds more shine which I find harder to achieve as I lighten my hair so it often really needs a lot of additional care & moisture (I've found this product has helped with that specifically after starting to dye my hair). I would recommend this product as it adds moisture & shine while also making your hair smell amazing!
I bought this on a whim after reading rave reviews from someone online. You put through a pump-sized amount through dry hair, wait 20 mins and shower and shampoo as normal. I have dyed blonde hair and I notice it adds extra moisture to my hair so the ends are left smooth after I blow dry it. It lasts ages too as you only use a small amount. I really like this product to maintain the moisture and look of my hair. Hot Tip #1 It is an oil so use sparingly. Don't get too excited like I did my first time using it, or you will end up looking like you forgo shampooing entirely. Hot Tip#2 Avoid putting it on your roots. Just use half way down head and on the ends. Hot Tip#3 You can also use a small amount to tame fly-aways and add some extra moisture on the ends, but again use sparingly! (See Hot Tip #1)
