It may have been a solid decade and change since we were first introduced to our country/pop/folk/everything queen, Taylor Swift (with her corkscrew curls in tact, no less), but over the span of her incredible career, she's truly gone from strength to strength in both the songwriting and beauty departments.
Because while blunt bangs and a slick of red lippy may be two of her best-known beauty signatures, there have been a lot of gorgeous stops along the way, from a platinum blonde bob to an age of stellar smokey eyes.
So, if you're feeling nostalgic, or you're just in the market for some amazing fringe-spo, take a look through our gallery to see how Swift’s beauty look has changed over the years...
Swift was introduced to the world way back in 2006 with 'Tim McGraw' and her natural curls out in all their glory.
Her 'princess' era was elite, there's no way around it, and ethereal updos like this one were half the reason.
The curls definitely stayed strong throughout the early years, but Swift soon swapped in a smooth side fringe.
Her love for sparkly eyeshadow only grew from there, as she also embraced a darker blonde shade.
Hello, bangs. 2010 saw the introduction of her iconic front fringe, as well as a switch to straightened strands.
Swift kept her smooth, straight texture in tow the next year, but ditched her bangs for a side-swept look.
The release of 'Red' brought a matching lipstick colour with it, and it soon became her signature shade.
It's safe to say bronde bangs, incredible blowouts and sultry smokey eyes ruled 2013.
Swift made a significant chop the year later, introducing her sweeping side fringe and embracing soft curls once more.
The length stayed short in 2015, but the vibes got edgy, with Swift turning to tousled texture and swapping the bangs back in.
This platinum bob has to be Swift's boldest beauty moment to date, particularly when paired with bold burgundy lippy.
Deep, dark lip shades were a staple of the 'Reputation' era, but she was back to bronde waves in the hair department.
We said 'welcome back, old friend' to the side bangs in 2018, with Swift also embracing softer makeup shades once more.
A 2019 take on her OG tousled chignon? We'll take it. Especially when there's a classic cat-eye involved.
In a fitting tribute to the release of 'Red (Taylor's Version)', Swift returned to the red lipstick aesthetic she's known all too well (sorry, we had to) for. Iconic.
