It minimised dryness and flakiness: A number of our reviewers were experiencing dry and flaky scalps when they started this trial, but after using the scrub and shampoo they noticed these dry scalp symptoms minimise almost instantly.

Left hair feeling soft, silky and shiny: After using this purifying pair, members noted an improvement in the overall feeling of their hair. Many mentioned their hair felt softer, silkier and shinier than usual too.

Managed scalp oiliness: A big concern for members of this trial was the fact they were having to wash their hair more than was desired because of an overproduction of oil. “I was excited to try [A’kin Purifying Scalp Revival Scrub] as I have fine, oily hair and have always struggled to stick to a product as I find most shampoos and conditioners build up over time. This is a pre wash treatment and it worked really well. You can choose to just use a little or use a lot more and have a really deep scrub. The texture is a bit like sugar scrub and it feels very relaxing to massage in. Scalp and hair felt very refreshed afterwards and my clean hair lasted a few days longer too. Easy to use and smells amazing. I’d recommend this product to anyone, it smells amazing and my hair definitely felt like it’d had a deep clean.”

“Opening the bottle gave me a hint of a clean citrus smell, which was really refreshing. I was really excited to try [A’kin Purifying Shampoo]. The formula of lemongrass and juniper berries was really interesting and so I was really curious as to how good this shampoo is. I felt that it didn’t lather as much as I was hoping for but it still made my scalp feel cleanse and my hair felt more hydrated without feeling oily or dry. It definitely helped remove excess oil and any build up on my hair and scalp. My hair and scalp felt cleansed and refreshed.”

“I always seem to produce a lot of oil in my hair which results in having to wash my hair every second day which can take its toll on my hair. After using [A’kin Purifying Shampoo] I only need to wash it 1-2 times a week now. It made my head and hair feel so great and it felt like it just washed the oil that had built up. I highly recommend it to others. I love that it’s Australian made and owned and is against animal testing.
