Formulated for the face and body, each offers a photostable formula and skin tolerance for even the most sensitive skin. Chemical filters have been specifically formulated to respect sensitive skin, while the hypoallergenic formula provides effective, broad spectrum protection against UVB and UVA rays.

Avène Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50+: The wearable ‘not-too-thick-but-not-too-thin’ consistency of the face and body lotion stood out to our members, who said they could definitely tell the difference compared to thicker traditional formulas they’d used previously.

Avène Sunscreen Spray SPF 50+: Our members found the sunscreen spray to be the most convenient format for everyday use, with many noting the handy spray nozzle and lightweight formula made application a breeze.

“I really enjoyed using this whole SPF range! Right, who enjoys sunscreen??? [Avène Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50+] is great and versatile. It isn't too thick and only has the slightest sunscreen fragrance which is expected. The consistency is what made it a winner in my eyes. Not too thick and not too watery, giving you confidence that it will provide you with protection and be wearable, without sweating off.”

“[Avène Sunscreen Emulsion SPF 50+] is a lovely daily sunscreen to use on the face. The formula is gentle and spreads very easily on the face. I have very sensitive skin and was pleased to see that I had zero reaction when I used this product. There is definitely a white cast when you first apply it, however it disappears after a few minutes. The finish is lovely and matte and sat really nicely under my makeup.”

“The [Avène Sunscreen Spray SPF 50+] formula isn’t too runny or greasy and gives you high protection from the sun. It didn’t irritate my sensitive skin at all either which was great. Being quite pale, this worked well for me in terms of actual sun protection and not appearing too “white” on the skin. It gives a nice glow and great coverage when rubbed in properly. I also swam after using this and it still stayed on the body for quite a while longer.”
