The Big Apple may boast landmarks such as the iconic Statue of Liberty, the impressive Empire State Building and bustling Times Square, but it also offers a host of amazing beauty hotspots that are a must-visit to relax, touch-up or shop at. Here are our favourite beauty destinations in New York.
Relax and unwind
You can’t go past the La Mer Spa inside the Baccarat Hotel, which is the ultimate place to unwind after a long day of shopping. The La Mer Baccarat Facial is our top pick, and involves exfoliating with diamond powders, a warming massage with special crystals, and of course a concentrated dose of La Mer’s signature Miracle Broth to finish.
A must-see location
It doesn’t get any more iconic than Elizabeth Arden’s gigantic red door at the flagship store in Union Square. Take a picture outside or better yet, go inside for a skin care consultation or quick makeup touch-up.
Pick up a souvenir
Glossier, the offspring of former beauty editor Emily Weiss, offers a tight-knit range of practical skin care and makeup. Just try and stop yourself from buying the entire store.
