Just look at all that vacay beauty inspo
In an incredibly theatrical spectacle, the models descended the runway illuminated by the flames of candles and fire pits installed over the palace’s courtyard pool.
And the beauty looks were to die for.
The hair and makeup were kept minimalist, fuss-free and very natural. Think: dewy, fresh skin, a flash of taupe on the eyelids, and totally undone hairstyles that embraced the models’ natural hair texture.
We think the beauty vibe couldn’t be more fitting. After all, a cruise collection is designed to be worn when you’re on vacay.
Take a look for yourself.
And that, ladies, is exactly what our holiday beauty dreams are made of.
To get that flawless-yet-natural skin, Dior Makeup's Creative and Image Director Peter Philips had a few tricks up his sleeve. "First of all, I applied the new Dior Backstage Face and Body Primer which adds luminosity and staying power," he revealed. This was then followed by Dior Backstage Face and Body Foundation as "its light and waterproof texture blends into the skin and gives a perfect finish while retaining freshness and translucence." And to finish the complexion, Philips applied a light veil of the Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette in 001 Universal to highlight the areas of the face that catch the light.
In keeping with the pared-back vacation vibes, those in attendance also kept their beauty looks glowy, effortless and elegant.
