Celebrity makeup artist and beauty entrepreneur Charlotte Tilbury is considered nothing short of royalty in the makeup world.
She’s even been awarded an MBE for services to the beauty and cosmetics industry.
Needless to say, when we get word that Charlotte is launching a new product, we’re all systems GO!
Which brings us to this breaking news: Charlotte has just announced the launch of a new foundation – Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation – and it sounds like nothing we’ve seen before.
If you’re a fan of your makeup working overtime to provide you with more benefits than just making you look good, we think you’ll like this one.
To start with, the foundation contains moss extract (say what?); as in, yes, that green stuff that grows in the shady parts of your garden. And it’s this biotechnologically-produced moss extract (known as MossCellTex™) that Charlotte says will provide your skin with a solid hit of 260 per cent more hydration.
It also contains a serum comprised of two patented peptides (dubbed Magic Replexium® Serum) to reduce wrinkles, as well as a pollution defence complex to protect the skin from the effects of urban pollutants.
Honestly, we’re starting to question whether this foundation could almost even be categorised as skin care!
The shade range features an impressive lineup of 44 skin-coded shades (for cool, neutral and warm skin tones) that have been created by Charlotte in partnership with industry-leading shade consultants.
If you’re keen to get your hands on this one, you’ll have to sit tight for now. The worldwide launch will be happening on 29 August.
