Dr. LeWinn’s Serum Series – Hyaluronic Acid + Waterin Plus Hydrate Serum utilises a combination of hyaluronic acid and waterin plus to help hydrate, plump and improve skin radiance for up to 96 hours after application.

What is waterin plus, you ask? Great question. It’s a plant-derived, moisturising carbohydrate complex that mimics the carbohydrates found in the outermost layer of the skin. It also helps with moisture retention by reinforcing barrier function, alleviates itchiness, and smooths rough texture on the skin’s surface.

Beauty Crew sent Dr. LeWinn’s Serum Series – Hyaluronic Acid + Waterin Plus Hydrate Serum to a panel of women aged 25 to 60 with dry, dull and dehydrated skin with concerns of lines and wrinkles.

The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about Dr. LeWinn’s Serum Series – Hyaluronic Acid + Waterin Plus Hydrate Serum.

The way it hydrated their skin: Review Crew® members were really impressed by how hydrating the hyaluronic acid-enriched formula was, with many saying they saw an immediate reduction in dryness and dull skin.

It plumped and rejuvenated their complexion: Members said they noticed an immediate plumping effect after application. They also noted an improvement in radiance, with many saying their skin looked glowy, hydrated and fresh.

The water-like texture: Reviewers compared the serum texture to slightly thicker than water. Because of this lightweight consistency, they noted that the serum absorbed quickly into skin and wasn’t as sticky as other hyaluronic acid serums they’d tried in the past.

“I have been enjoying this product thoroughly. It is really hydrating as it is. I have very dry skin and especially when seasons change, my skin is really unpredictable. It helps keep my skin somehow sane during those periods. The serum absorbs into the skin very well and quickly. In the morning I sometimes like to put it on before applying makeup and it never fights with any of my skincare. This feels like a dupe of the Lancome Advanced Genefique Serum which I also love. The applicator is pretty good, it gives you the perfect amount each time you apply it. This is not the cheapest for what is on the market, but with serums this price range is something I feel more comfortable getting.”

“I really enjoyed using Dr. LeWinn's Hyaluronic Acid + Waterin Plus Hydrate Serum. The application process is really easy and efficient with a dropper style applicator that dispenses the perfect amount of product for your face and neck. The product itself is slightly thicker than water and applies really nicely to the skin, it's quick and easy to spread. I love how the serum absorbs into the skin quite quickly, so I can continue with the rest of my skincare regime without having to wait. I consistently used this serum, both morning and night and noticed an instant plumpness and hydration boost to the skin. I particularly liked the smooth finish it left on my skin before I applied my moisturiser and foundation in the mornings.
