We're leaning into 'Byron-coded makeup' this Black Friday (because this sale is too good not to)
Considering we’re still a few weeks away from summer holidays (and not all of us can be in Byron Bay right now), we’re looking to the next best thing: makeup that makes us feel like we’re there.
Think glowy, fresh skin, shimmer-spiked lip combos in earthy shades, and lashes that look natural but still manage to defy gravity with their lift.
Of course, if it’s Byron Bay-inspired makeup we’re coveting, the obvious choice is to shop from a Byron Bay-based makeup brand. The fact that our chosen one, Eye of Horus, just launched their biggest sale of the year for Black Friday is a (very) happy accident.
One that will obviously result in us purchasing at least three of each product before the prices go back up. You can save between 20% and 60% off some of the most Byron-coded makeup essentials on the market right now, and said essentials are what we plan on wearing on our faces all summer long.
Here’s what we’re grabbing to put our Byron Bay-inspired look together…
Base:
Eye of Horus Triple C Concealer ($27, down from $45)
Want to stick to light (but velvety coverage)? This concealer is creamy, lasts all day and even contains vitamin C to visibly brighten skin.
Eye of Horus Second Skin Foundation ($68, down from $85)
For a more 'done' face that still feels natural, this soft-focus, ultra-smooth foundation blends effortlessly into skin for an undetectable finish.
Eyes + Brows:
Eye of Horus Lash Lift Mascara ($38.40, down from $48)
Enhance your eyes with this length-maximising mascara. The wand is designed to coat every last lash without adding clumps.
Eye of Horus Goddess Pencil in ‘Charcoal’ ($22.80, down from $38)
Amp things up for evening with a smoked out wing or wiggle a little between lashes for a soft level of day-friendly definition.
Eye of Horus Dual Brow Perfect ($34.40, down from $43)
Get brows looking soft and fluffy with this double ended product's angled wax crayon and tinted brow gel.
Lips:
Eye of Horus Lip Liner in ‘Rose’ ($24.50, down from $35)
Buff a little bit of this creamy lip liner into your lips, keeping the edges hazy for a more natural, beachy look.
Eye of Horus Lip Elixir in ‘Rose’ ($30.40, down from $38)
Finish your look with a layer of oil-infused lip elixir, made with 100% vegan, natural and organic ingredients.
