The arrival of Rihanna's Fenty Hair is on the horizon

And it’s not just haircare

By now we’re all very much subscribed to the undeniable cult of Fenty followers.

From Fenty Skin to Fenty Beauty, Rihanna is killing it when it comes to giving her customers the products they want.

And while we’re still waiting on bated breath for pop’s resident bad gal to drop another album, we’re more than happy to hear she’s supplying us with a wealth of hair supplies in the interim.

Rihanna’s company Roraj Trade, LLC has reportedly just officially filed to trademark a salon’s-worth of hair-related products, which leads us to believe Fenty Hair is very much on the horizon.

E! News reported that the trademark filing included items such as “hair bands, barrettes, picks, bows, clips, pins, ribbons, scrunchies, nets, hair extensions, wigs and hair curlers.”

While filing a trademark for hair extensions and wigs may seem like an odd choice, it’s just further evidence of Rihanna’s inclusionary stance on beauty. Much like Fenty Beauty’s prioritisation of black and brown women in the initial rollout of the makeup brand, which included a revolutionary range of foundation shades, we’re sure Fenty Hair will include a range of products marketed at these communities also. Fingers crossed there’s a mullet wig on offer.

The company previously filed a broader trademark for haircare over a year ago, so no doubt you can also expect to see some Barbados cherry-infused shampoo and conditioner in the range too.

The twitter community has already expressed excitement over the news of the filing, with a few users hilariously tweeting quipps like, “bad gal bundles pon di way #fentyhair,” and “these are not the kind of tracks we asked for Riri but if Fenty is selling we are buying.”

“I just know Rihanna gone have all the rawr bundles for the low. I can’t wait to shop #FentyHair,” said another excited fan.

While we wait for more information on the imminent release of Fenty Hair, we’re gonna try to hunt down a dupe for Fenty Beauty’s lip stain, because we’re already running low and those waitlists are long

She loves the way seemingly innocuous topics like skin care and style have the ability to put a smile on people’s faces or make them think about themselves a little differently. A big believer in self love and experimentation, Briar has made a point of becoming the Australian beauty industry’s unofficial guinea pig for unusual treatments and daring hair trends.
