The product

New season, new hair… right? We don’t know about you, but this spring we’re going to be giving our dry scalps and hair some much-needed rehab before summer hits.

Enter: Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo and Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Conditioner. This  gentle shampoo and conditioner duo tackles dry and itchy scalps at the root with soothing eucalyptus.

The pH balanced formula even works its magic on chemically treated and coloured hair, making it  a top contender for your trolley at your next  supermarket shop.

Our panel of Review Crew® testers put this scalp revitalising duo to the test.

The panel

Beauty Crew sent Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo and Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Conditioner to a panel of women aged 18 to 69 with a dry or itchy scalp.

The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo and Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Conditioner.

The way it refreshed their scalp: Our reviewers found that the shampoo and conditioner were extremely effective in helping to revitalise and refresh their itchy scalps. A number of members particularly liked the addition of cooling eucalyptus.

The affordable price point: Review Crew® members really appreciated the low price point of this shampoo and conditioner duo – plus the fact that they were able to restock at their local supermarket didn’t hurt either.

How cleansed their hair was: Our members loved how clean their hair felt after using the shampoo and conditioner together.

The verdict

“Head and shoulders is my go to for dandruff ridden hair and this version is no different. I have definitely seen and felt a reduction in itchiness and dry feeling scalp. I have been massaging a small amount into my hair and usually give it a few minutes before washing it out. The scent is amazing and although the formula feels thick, it washes out nicely and leaves hair feeling clean and fresh.”

“Head & Shoulders is a great anti-dandruff brand and the Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo delivers on removing dandruff and keeping the scalp itch free. I really like the addition of eucalyptus to this shampoo as it smells great and seems to also keep my hair nice and soft while thoroughly cleansing it at the same time. I use this Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo with the matching conditioner and having used this shampoo for a few weeks my scalp is itch free, no dandruff and the shampoo hasn’t dried out my hair… For me, Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo is a staple for the shower and is a bargain buy.”

“I usually quite like Head & Shoulders products, works well in terms of lather and making sure my hair feels really fresh and soft too. This one in particular made my scalp feel fresh too! Less dandruff which is what I love about Head & Shoulders in general.”
